It could be the worst, weirdest, or funniest one. This is a thread to share those statuses but without any names.

I saw the worst one at the beginning of the week. It was about my old high school friend who just had a baby. Mind you, she lost her 5 year old son 8 years ago. This is what it said..

"(name) just recycled her son. Congrats to her!"

I thought it was a very cruel FB status to post about my friend by this one person.

Oh yea....the new format that was show up yesterday... alot complained and didn't like it! I like just simple nothing fancy...don't need to know this or that!

Any weird or funny statuses that u have seen? I dont mind them and I like reading them and I have come across some interesting ones.

only one time i saw someone made a nasty comment against someone else in public. i cant remember what did she say but i only remember her words " you know who i am talking about, yes you!" gosh.

Theres always a ton of fun ones i see.. trying to look for one ..but really right now just like LT said... people are just complaining about the new fb layout.. when i find a hilarious one i'll for sure post it !:D love the idea of this thread btw

people can be cruel on FB.. I dont use it much though.

I've seen people calling their own family members out on FB....

That's awful! I can't imagine what that person was thinking -- hopefully your friend didn't see it or wasn't as offended as I would have been had it been me.

The funniest ones I've seen haven't been people's status, per se, but the responses to it. One of my friends wrote that he was going to get drunk and find a girl to hookup with, and then his mom posted that if he wanted money for groceries that month, he best be on his best behavior. So he responded that he never indulges and always treats women like ladies :)

Today, my dad posted saying that he cant paint my house because my mom's ex boyfriend would set fire to it. I laughed and laughed so hard. Old story but I am sure other people reading it would be turned off by that so I am sure it was not a good idea for him to post something like that on his FB. Then again, my dad says the most outrageous things so it wasnt surprising that he brought that personality on FB.

I hate it when some people made stupidest things like "ow, my ass is hurt.", "sobs sobs my life is ruin.", and "etc etc".

Good riddance...

I notice one person in particular that constantly complains about his life & his parents. Apparently someone on his Facebook was telling his parents what he was writing on Facebook, so he has recently been writing statuses about how he's going to find out who "ratted" him out to his parents and how he'll delete them off FB. I think that the simple solution would be for him to shut his mouth and keep his personal life private. :)

One of my friends on FB always has the most interesting statuses and she cracks me up. A recent one read:
"...slightly disturbed by the concept of "sugar free marshmallow". The ingredient list appeared to be devoid of any specific answer to that question which makes me think it can't be good & very well may be worse than just consuming the sugar itself."

:giggle: excellent! I love this thread! I cant find any of my friends who have particularly funny status at the moment but my absolute hate is when people post gushy romantic banter about how much X has the best boyfriend/girlfriend ever or how much they love X and aven sometimes what X wants to do to their boy/girlfriend... two of my gay friends are often WAY too explicit!

Don't do facebook, but to me this is hilarious:

Was talking to a parole officer. He no longer goes chasing his charges down to see if they are breaking the law. Instead he keeps track of facebook, myspace, twitter, and the like where people will actually post pictures of themselves violating parole.

On twitter he actually picked up a guy telling his flock, "We are over at Joe's shooting up with some really good stuff. Come on over."

He did and busted the lot of them.

On time I have posted about my dog who have been stealing my bra and underwear and chew it all up. Leaving me buying more so now he is not doing it anymore. He knows I get pissed at him. LOL

My college did that, too! Well, to some extent. If someone, like an RA, posted pictures of themselves on campus drinking (which isn't allowed) then they would be punished. It's silly to think that just because you put something on the internet, doesn't mean it won't affect you in real life. We had professors warning us to delete facebook accounts while we apply for jobs because many employers will check and see what sort of activities you partake in during your spare time. I've heard of several people being fired for stuff they've posted on facebook.

In America you have no civil liberties on the job. At least being union I have civil liberties off the job.

hehe... got a funny one today..."[name] thinks [name2] should stop tucking his willy between his legs and saying he's a girl"

Who actually thinks that other people WANT to know about this!?
