I am almost always in a good mood Wow, me too Liebling but I don't wear them when I'm on the computer through, only when I'm watching TV with closed caption or driving at night, since the lights bothers my eyes, hard for me to see the word clearly...
Yes, I don't wear glass when I'm on the computer... example chat, posts, etc... I only wear glass when I'm on front of the computer in the office to make utility invoices, estimate $, etc... because of color print... Color/light prints does bother my eyes... not black print (type)... - at subtitles - have color print.
I am having to wear my glasses more now....Has anyone had the Lasik laser eye surgery? But I am a BIG chicken .... :|
Yes, I had the surgery because I was very nearsighted.I am having to wear my glasses more now....Has anyone had the Lasik laser eye surgery? But I am a BIG chicken .... :|
Yes, I had the surgery because I was very nearsighted.
I couldn't wear contacts because my eyes are too dry. So, I got the Lasik surgery.
I'm very satisfied with the results.
I just went to the eye doctor this afternoon for my regular check up. The doctor did a very thorough exam. She said my eyes are healthy, and my vision is still strong.

Yes. But each person is different, so the only way to know for sure about yourself is to get an eye exam. Many eye surgeons will do the first visit/consultation for free. Are these kinds of eye surgeries appropriate for astigmatism ? just curious![]()

I know several people who have had the surgery but I don't know anyone who had to have it redone three times.I would like to ask you question about Lasik surgery. I don't know either you know or not...
My friend had it done at 2 years ago and very satisfied with this exactly what you mentioned here but it could be not forever... I mean you will have problem again with your eyesight when you get older... It's not just Lasik surgery but glasses and contacts as well. You can have Lasik Surgery to done again but it could be up to 3 times, not more... You can change glasses or contacts often due eyesight problem when you get older but Lasik surgery - must be up to 3 times... If after 3 times, they can't do anything with your eyes, you have to get glasses or contacts.... ? (That's what I learn from my friend who had it done and other friends who want to have one...)

I've heard that, too. I guess it depends on the individual. For me, my night driving vision has improved since the surgery. I used to be very nearsighted, and even with anti-glare lenses I didn't have the best night driving vision. But now I can see just as well (better actually).Just curious, did you experience any vision loss at night after the surgery? I've heard quite a few stories about that and I've been thinking of having one done on my eyes but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

One funny thing. Since my surgery, my family calls me "Eagle-Eye" because I can spot tiny objects (like a BB or a needle) on the ground that no one else notices, even when I'm not searching. Whenever someone can't find something small they ask me to look, and pah! There it is! :P
I want to get 1 contact lense so that I can have 1 green and 1 brown eye!

How so?I just had a strange thought after reading this post. Seems like Lasik surgery is a similar concept to CIs?

My surgery was over five years ago, and there has been no real change in my eyes since then. No problems. Yesterday, the doctor said my eyes were strong and healthy.
