But how can you tell if it's Venus? :confused:

sorry I'm not much of an expert at this outer space thingy...lol heck I dont even own a telescope
 
Yes its Venus. Its nice to see a bright planet when sun goes down.
 
yeah believe it or not its true :D the sole bright dot in sky is a true meaning of venus.

have u ever seen a bright dot next to the moon? can that be mars?
 
Venus is also called the "evening star". It’s the bright white "star" seen above the western horizon when the Sun sets. Sometimes it’s even visible during the day. Venus has phases, just like the Moon. You can prove it’s Venus with just a pair of steadily held binoculars—the crescent can be seen even at this magnification.
