Ever came close to an Alligator before?

I have, and I have a picture to prove it. It wasn't easy either. This picture was taken in Florida and we were at the gas station pumping gas, Angel and I took a walk around by the lake and saw an alligator, I had to go as quick and immediately as possible to get a closer picture of the alligator. :Ohno:

I can't see the picture... *tiny picture with red cross*... I will look at the picture at my home computer when I am home from work.
 
Wow, you are so lucky that you are that close to that alligator! I have seen a HUGE alligator, the alligator was like 20 feets long and really fat! But it was in the pen at the fairground so everyone can come and see it.

Yeah live in Florida and see all the time. They hang out in the retention pond in the parking ot of the mall.
 
Yes, we see live alligators often here. They are in mall ditches, golf courses, parks, backyards, etc. There are almost too many here.
 
no never see one up close... but occasionally hear the news tat they found an alligator here in creek or lake .. surprised me.. as its rare.. :Ohno:

Interesting - is the fence spilt you two apart for safety?

Last week, I pat a 7 weeks old baby crocodile - real cute :)

:Ohno: That's scary! I don't think I have seen wild one. I've see many times at the Zoo.
 
I did 5 times a week when I was in HS.... bio teacher was a real gator

yes i have i was in Fla last 1995 for a vacation and i was on the boat with my family and family friends of ours there was alligator in the water :Ohno:
i forgot to take picture but my camera was not digital and i don't have scanner to do upload the picture shrugs
 
I have never seen alligators this close in my life like you did and pray that it won't ever happen to me. I'm deathly afraid of it and my adrenaline would run high with sweats. Imagine if you sweat with a drop of meat and he won't be hitting on you, but he would eat you! :Ohno: You're lucky that you're home in one piece. Nice gator, he's cute. :ugh3:
 
We have warning signs about gators at the ponds on the college campus where I work. Even the pond that is next to the building and parking lot where I go the most often. :D

I see alligators only in zoo . They don't exist in our country in natural environment.
 
No I never seen a wild alligator, but I've seen a few at the zoo, though. :)
 
I haven't came close to an alligator yet. I only saw them at the zoo in the past. I came close to a baby shark in the ocean a few weeks ago. :eek3:
 
oddball a SHARK!!! oh my :Ohno: i never came so close to the sharks since i am scare of ocean
that is weird fear i have LOL since i love beaches :roll:

Try to get a little closer and then when you're done taking its picture, brush its teeth.....:giggle:
