Eggs

Here's a recipe for this sauce.

check out the amount of butter used in this sauce:

Classic Hollandaise Sauce
[HOL-uhn-dayz] A rich egg based sauce flavored with a bit of lemon or vinegar, butter and a hint of cayenne pepper. The sauce is served over vegetables, fish, or Eggs Benedict.

The most important aspect of a successful sauce is to use a double boiler and make sure not to allow the water in the bottom of the double boiler to boil, just remain, hot and lightly simmering. You can add a tablespoon of cold water if needed to reduce the heat of the water if it starts to boil.

The sauce should be served immediately upon completion.

Makes: 1 cup

I N G R E D I E N T S
2 tablespoons white-wine or tarragon vinegar or fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons boiling water
3 large egg yolks
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon salt

I N S T R U C T I O N S

Melt the butter and keep it warm.

Heat the vinegar or lemon juice until just warmed. Have small saucepan with boiling water and a measuring tablespoon ready.

Place the top of a double boiler over (not in) hot water. (This means the bottom of the top of the double boiler sound not make contact with the water heating in the bottom half of the double boiler.)

Place the egg yolks in the top of a double boiler and whisk until they begin to thicken. Now add 1 tablespoon of the boiling water. Continue to beat the sauce until it begins to thicken. Repeat with the remaining water, one tablespoon at a time, beating the mixture after each addition.

Now add the warmed vinegar or lemon juice. Remove the double boiler from the heat. Beat the sauce briskly with a wire whisk. Continue to beat the mixture as you slowly pour in the melted butter. Add the salt and cayenne and beat the sauce until it is thick. Serve immediately.

Yup, I agree with you.

For balut, NO WAY, I would choke so hard and seems like most gross food in the world.

I love omelet with cheese and lean turkey/chicken (sliced) meat.

there are some reviews admit that it look gross yet, they once taste and it does taste so good, beyond than regular egg.

I would like to try BAULT.

What's Bault... umm.. half fetus inside and boiling in water. Then eat it? :D

Poached egg is what it called....

I use broiling water in pan and break open egg carefully and pour yolk w/ egg white close to broiling water. Let it broil for 5 min and yolk inside of it become hardened. then scoop with filtered spoon to drain water out w/ egg. Then spice it with pepper and salt or add drops of tabasco ect. I even put it in toasted breads and made sandwich out of it.

Another fun thing to make do with bread and eggs. while warming up the frying pan w/ pam sprayed on it (or use butter), use top end of glass and press the bread in the middle to make hole out of it. Then put holed bread in frying pan and break egg and pour yolk and egg white in hole. Let it cook for few min till bottom is white. Then flip over (just like pancake) and let it cook again till both side are brown. Then you can serve it with syrup or as a sandwich w/ mayo ect. Great for kids!!

It would be a good idea if you buy some eggs at a store that has a label on the package - "Cage Free." It's because some chicken farms have horrible and overcrowded chicken in the cages. It's better for you to buy that says "Cage Free" so that the chicken will have a better environment and healthy eggs.

I love to eat an eggs. I can cooking an omelet, scramble, burrito, breakfast casserole, any kind of eggs for cooking.

Cadbury Creme eggs are not real eggs. they are just candies... the white and yellow are just foundant filling to resemble eggs.

Fondant
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fondant is a cream confection used as a filling or coating for cakes, pastries, and candies or sweets. In its simplest form, it is sugar and water cooked to a point, specifically the soft-ball stage, cooled slightly, and stirred or beaten until it is an opaque mass of creamy consistency. Fondant is commonly used to decorate wedding cakes. This gives the cakes a smooth appearance.

Cadbury Creme Egg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The yellow-orange interior simulates the yolk of an egg. A Cadbury Creme Egg is a brand of chocolate egg produced by Cadbury Schweppes in the United Kingdom, and under license by The Hershey Company in the United States. The egg has a thick milk chocolate "shell", with a white and yellow fondant filling designed to resemble the yolk and albumen of an egg.

Creme eggs are usually sold individually, but are also available in packets of three, four, six, and twelve, and in boxes of eight, fifteen, twenty-four and forty-eight. The foil wrapping of the eggs was traditionally red, yellow and blue in colour in the United Kingdom and Ireland, though purple replaced blue early in the 21st century. In the United States, some green is incorporated into the design, which previously featured the product's mascot—the Creme Egg Chick. The brand has proven to be extremely popular worldwide, and in the UK, Ireland and Canada, Creme Eggs are the best selling confectionery item between January 1 and Easter, with annual sales in excess of 200 million items and a brand value of approximately £45 million.[1]

While filled eggs were first manufactured by the Cadbury Brothers in the early 1920s, the Creme Egg in its current form was not released until 1971. The eggs are manufactured at the Bournville factory in Birmingham at the rate of 1.5 million per day, and also at other Cadbury factories in countries such as New Zealand.
