Whoa .... Yeah better not use laptop on your lap and on a desk and if you are traveling use the airline;s tray that folds down for drinks and food or on Amtrak use the table in the dining room or something like that and at home don't have your laptop on your bed as you lay down to type. :) :thumb:
 
Amen! They slept in bed with Intel!!! Refused to deal with AMD!
I love AMD! Never had problem like I had with Intel!

What is the website to AMD ?
 
Was it a cloth or a plastic table cover? If it was plastic, the heat from the laptop probably melted the plastic which then bubbled into the laptop and causing the laptop to catch on fire.
 
Which AMD would be perfect for college and I would like one with a color printer too, burn CD's and things like that would really help with college. I am not interested in video games or anything like that and I would enjoy sending my mom and my family pictures of me while I am in college. :) :thumb:

My laptop is often on an old chair next to my bed. It isn't on my bed, though.
 
Athlon 64 or higher and for lappy Turion64. Forget Sempron!!!

Right and the chip called is CPU, and so far only two major companies in beeswax that is AMD and Intel. BTW AMD had 64 bit chip for about two years while Intel finally got it out recently. THis proves that AMD is already advanced so much ahead than Intel.

I always use my laptop on the bed and no problem so far.

I own laptop for year already.

Dude, my laptop is Intel. Try beat my laptop in 6 hours.
I dont see any AMD make more than 3 hours battery life so far due watts so high.. Dont get wrong idea. I like AMD64 for desktop and I like Intel for laptop.
