Dual Monitor connectivity issues

VGA was/is the standard
DVI-HDMI is the modern standard that's trying to outst VGA but for a comparison its ridiculous.

Image quality VGA to DVI/HDMI (HDMI and DVI outputs are within same aspect) the average human eye cannot notice a difference unless you are a graphics artist who solely works on the basis of proper colors.

There are still some purposes in a DSUB vga connection for those who need them, also a fact that DVI's output is limited to a 60Hz frequency. VGA LCD's can go up to 75. CRT's can go higher than 75hz.

The need for higher frequencies depends on what you need to do in front of a monitor.

I understand very clearly what you said!

Now you messed up to chevy's mind.

You should not said VGA word in first place.

No, no - I didnt say that. I was saying WHY they are adding these VGA ports onto these latest models!! My new DELL 22" widescreen monitors has these.

HDMI cable can go up to 120hz. frequency. Screw VGA and soon to be DVI.

Busines want to sell LCD for both VGA and DVI to make money. Some people can't afford to buy the new computer but LCD.

Some report said:

Longer cables, operating in a noisy electrical environment or using high refresh rates can introduce noise into the VGA signal, DVI being digital makes sure that the data received is the data transmitted or else there is no output. Some LCDs seem to be equal on either interface but others have reported significant image quality enhancements with DVI so as ussual your milage may vary. DVI is digital and clocked so the exact value of each and every pixel is ensured as opposed to VGA which can end up sampling between pixels. Most monitors can analyize and auto tune the timings to get pixel sampling perefct but there is no guarentee that the pixel sampling will be perfect. DVI basicly can't go wrong while VGA could be probably won't. DVI is good if you can get it for not too much extra cost.

Remember I use DVI since 2002. Right now HDMI is better than DVI for built-in audio, and high Hz

I'm glad that you solved your problem!

Off topic: I remember that my friend called Dell's tech support on the telephone for some help with her Dell computer. She found out that the tech service is from India because she heard him speaking a little-broken accent. What a cheap labor.

Wow. I am not sure about this one from the source that you found.

"Dell said its decision to reroute some technical support calls does not amount to abandoning its strategy to expand in India and elsewhere. "We're going to grow employment in the US and India," Weisblatt said."

It's only applies for Indians whoever is fluent in english and able to offers full assistance at quickly time.

Generally, Dell already dropped many of them.

Yesterday I had asked Best Buy salesman if working to connect dual display for LCD monitor from my notebook he told me that not able to connect it and be using desktop computer unit only. I still confused about it. Do you believe about it?

Future of Hologram Computer Monitor

you don't need to buy dual monitors.

Simple ask him. Why most laptops have DVI/VGA/HDMI ports for?

Why not talk to Geek Squad? I bet they cost you $100 for answer their question. :giggle:
