Dual Monitor connectivity issues

mine's GeForce 9500GT. it's cheap... only about $50-70 in newegg.com :cool2: I'm not sure about GeForce 2 or 3. you mean 200 series?

No, Vampy use GeForce 2 or 3, it was from 2000 to 2001.

For me, I'm using GeForce 9800 GTX+ because of gamer.

your DVI port in your v-card should be treated as primary so you should use your primary monitor for DVI. VGA port is usually treated as secondary. but... why in the god's name are both of your monitors VGA?????? it's blasphemy!!

My primary monitor is connected to the DVI Video card right now, and the VGA cable on the second one but the second one said " No VGA cable - which the VGA cable is connected to the PC. But the CPU has one DVI and the next one is the HDMI output.. WTF?

What I have discovered, I found out that I have to install the drivers for the v-card - I am downloading them from dell.com right now. So for the sake of it, lets hope it works!

This issue has been solved, but it is 3am here, so I need sleep first then I will be back to tell you what the solution was.

The solution was, that I discovered, I gave a hard look at the computer screen when I turned on the CPU, found out that I had to plug in the add-in graphics card, so I followed and got through, and installed the Ati driver ended up with few minor issues, which I upgraded the OS system to Vista Business OS from Windows XP Professional SP3 (Still have the CD though) and fixed the minor issue then the ati drivers was successfully installed - finally. Then I restarted the computer, then I plugged in back the primary monitor with DVI cable, it worked, then I plugged in HDMI cable to my TV, it worked. Now I have discovered that I only need a HDMI to DVI cable for the second monitor which I obviously ordered earlier this morning. The tech support from Dell was wrong, I knew it was. Now, I am temporary using the TV as a second monitor until the specific cable arrives tomorrow or at least early next week. Problem solved (and VGA cable free!)

Why did you change to install Vista Business OS from XP PRO SP3. I unfavor Vista Premium in my new notebook. I always use XP OS in many year. I will wait to get new Windows 7 OS later this year or next year.

I bought my new PC under VP Communications, VIsta Business OS runs great with no issues like the other versions does. Don't worry, I have the CD if I need to change it, but right now, it is running smoooooothly. Will plan to upgrade my 2gb of RAM to 4GB of ram later in the year.

LOL. What did tech support said? I never trust any tech support's words at all.

I posted the answer but it got removed for some reason, I said "They recommended me to get a Y Cord, but they are actually idiots"

I would like to apologise breifly in regards of a misunderstanding in this thread, I didnt meant to point my comment to highlander or others. I was trying to re-correct my wording, but what I was referring to Highlander's question is that the DELL techican suggested me to get a Y Cord for my PC.
