Drug Raid at my Daughters school!!

so it is legal.. just still dont seem right subjecting kids that dont know whats going on to that. but jillio and jiro are right its better than an overdose. having that stuff that young is just sad. and to think the fate of the world rests in these kids hands is scary.
 
It is very sad for such young children to be selling drugs. I'm glad the police stepped in.
 
Search and seizure is always an invasion. That is why they call it a Raid.
 
So, yes, it is absolutely legal for the authorities to take a step in to do a raid to do a drug search.

It is scary, yes, but if you look at it this way - They are told to do whatever it takes to find the drug in order to make it a safe environment for other children.

I am not... It makes me feel good that the school and the authorities are making a place for my child safe.

If anyone that needs an apology it is my Daughter and the other innocent kids that had to go through this. The ones that owes them that apology are the dealers and the idiots that brought this on to kids selling drugs.
 
When I was young my brother, a friend, and I were caught by these plain clothed railway police picking blackberries from a railway line. My brother and friend was very upset about it but It didn't seem to bother me some how.

Police in school may upset kids but the risk of them taking drugs would cause more damage. So I guess it would be a neccessary evil.

True but I'm sure that it makes a parent nervous when they send their child to school not knowing if they will make it home safe or not.

I am nervous where ever my kids go.

I can not allow my fears or thoughts of what may happen to hinder their independence.
 
oh my words about drugs in school!

one of my old classmates bring guns to dorm and hide from dorm teachers and didnt shoot anyone! but my old classmates got suspended! till school start but i didnt see the guns of my old classmates's but i respect my old school's policy what do or dont!

my old school knew dont allowed include:
dealers drugs
guns
whatevers of rules dont bring to dorm they supervisor will found out they can displcines or OSS (out of school suspension) for weeks peroid!

To me it is a big deal.. We do need to educate kids and educate at a very early age. It is a big deal to a child that has have their privacy invaded because of some idiotic kid that decided to deals drugs at a place that is suppose to be considered a safe haven.

I only shrugged because I was not quite surprised. It is pretty much common in middle to high schools, especially colleges. Kids will always have very sneaky ways of selling drugs and it's not just in schools but ANYWHERE so...you know how it is.

yes it is the idiot's fault for bringing drugs to school and everyone has to invade their privacy as a way to search for the drugs...it happened to me and other people when someone stole my intercrepter's wallet as it was a big deal too.
