Drinkers live longer than non-drinkers

This is one reason why I do not drink but Netrox is right about drinking glass of wine daily and take baby aspirin to live little bit longer. From my own doctor, she ordered me to take baby aspirin daily to prevent heart problem as I get older.

The problem with the aspirin therapy is that not everyone can take aspirin. Hubby can't because he's very allergic to aspirin. I can't because it will tear up my stomach even worse than it is.
 
People taking certain medications can't drink alcohol.

An alcoholic cannot have just one drink a day. I know I can't. But I know I will live a long time because a palm-reader told me so. :lol:

I am not an alcoholic but my dad's bad gene passed to me thanks to long history of drinking problems in his family began in Poland. palm-reader told you to live a long life? Do you believe her/him :) ? My sister did once read her friend's palm and lied to him. She told him he had a long life then one week later he got killed in motorcycle accident.

Same with my husband, he can not take baby aspirin because of stomach problem and it goes same with children especially when they have chicken pox. As for me, I have health issues so I takes them now for pre-caution but it can be change in future as I get older. Who knows.

My husband's grandma is 99 years old now and she eats junk foods. She is in better shape than my mom is now. Lucky her. Only one thing I can think of why she lives so long and healither than rest of us. She never deal with stress, never been to work, and her husband do all stuffs for her. Do you think she wants to live to 100 years old, she said no way but in few months she will be if she did not die before reaching 100 year old.

My mom refused to get false teeth and had a hard eating food. And her son would call her harass her all the time , this was very stressful on my mom. She would not get an unlistded phone # like I told her to do. My mom did not want to have deal her abusive son any more. I was happy for my mom when she did dies , she was at peace at last. I miss her like HELL but she can't be harass any more. My mom live stress for 25 years being maried to her husband and when he died her son added 43 more years of stress. She had hard life being married to my dad. That is great your husband's grandma
have good life. My mom did have a nice life for 25 years , it when down hill when she meet dad.

Wow your mom, I am not ready to let my mom go even she is sick and living in nursing home right now. Yes that is my biggest problem how much I will miss her and prehap I am little bit selfish of wanted her to live little bit longer. She wanted to go and be free. It is hell for me right now to deal with it and letting her go. I am glad your mom is finally at peace and free so are you too made a peace. ((((((hug))))
