We still awaiting for verdict to find out when Judge ruled

I've been following the testimony on In Session TV. It looks bad for the doctor.

Still more testimony to come. The jury has NOT yet gone to deliberation. We are NOT yet awaiting a verdict because the trial is still ongoing. It will not be decided by a judge; it's a jury trial.

I saw a little bit about this. I feel really sorry for his children because apparently the doctor had them called to the room after the death and they had to witness him in that state.

Yes, that was awful. :(

Im sorry but anybody that takes those kinds of measures (use of drugs) knows that **** happens. Sure the Dr. may have given him the OD BUT Jackson knew the risks. If he had been taking the propofol(sp?) for a while, he knew in his mind that this outcome was possible.

IF I was a juror the Dr. would never get a guilty vote from me.

Glad you are not on the jury. And hope you are never called to serve.

its called being around enough drug users in my life that I feel they know the consequences that can stem from drug use. When you use drugs for a high or buzz, you are taking your life in your owns. Did the dr. force him to take the propofol(sp?)? He willingly took it, therefore he accepted all possible outcomes at that point.

A doctors oath: Do No Harm

He violated that.

Well Ive had that oath violated multiple times, but I couldnt do a thing about it...why? I was informed of possible outcomes

My brother was KILLED by a doctor at vanderbilt...we couldnt do anything about it...why? He/we were informed of possible outcomes

First, I'm so sorry about you brother. I know you will miss him deeply.

If the hospital staff and/or your brother's doctor had been doing what Dr. Murray was doing while MJ was dying, you could have sued their pants off. It is entirely a coherent issue where a patient signs a consent form and expect the doctor and staff of a hospital to take every precaution. Dr.Murray, as testified by several witnesses so far, was negligent way over the top. Having drugs shipped to his GF's place so he could used them for MJ is a crime in itself.

So far, from the testimony, it seems Dr. Murray was an extremely irresponsible doctor. Also, he lied to the paramedics and hospital staff. Not good.

The weirdest part of the trial was hearing the slurred voice of Michael Jackson on the iPhone recording that Murray made. Jackson sounded so different and strange, almost unrecognizable. It was creepy.

I totally disagree with you! The doctor gave Jackson drugs that should only be given to you while in the hospital not at home on your bed! The doctor should had refused to have anything to do with this! And Murrary did not tell anyone that he gave Jackson the drug that was cause of his death. The doctor tried to hides the bottles that could be used ad evident against him! He looked a guilty
as HELL , he is not relaxed , he is very tense and his face is like stone. I think if he knew he was not guilty he would look a lot more relaxed and not so uptight!

I agree with you Reba, I been thinking that too, it looks bad for the doctor.
