Don't sleep and drive...

That dipshit would STILL be sitting in the front seat if he was WEARING seatbelt. And coulda pulled over to get a little shut eye.

No, it is not about beating somebody to post something, not with something as serious as this. I am always glad to see something that has been posted before that still is a good post even if people complain and say it is a repost or something like that. Did you see the first video clip that I posted on the top ? :ugh2:
 
I don't find it funny because a friend of mine died in a result of falling alsleep while driving home from dropping his girlfriend off at her place of home. :(

Yeah on top video...bad guy pay for what he broke law....damn he was (cars ran over him) dead himself from being in jail.

Ahhhh yeah .... It is always good to see something that has been posted before and it is still a good reminder to stay safe by keeping seatbelts on.

Yes, Terrible that he got thrown out of the car. Unfortunately he was running away from the law which is never a good idea wheter he was in a seatbelt or no seatbelt. Running from the cops is a no-no.

In your video clip that guy must have weighed what about 250-300 lbs. He is a big guy and just like that he gets thrown in the back seat, glass breaking and all, I hope the roof of the car with the door did not crush his head or get his neck stuck in between there or the emegrency crew would of have needed to use the Jaws of the Life to cut a way out so he could be set free from the car wreck.

It is not about funny....It gives other ADers more aware beside drunk and drive. I would understand your saying if I put it into Joke And Funny Stories Thread, and sorry about your friend, Cheri :(

I had friend was in coma for 6 weeks after he got 'sleep and drive' which he rejected his friends offered him to stay overnight when he was too tired. He say "Not need to stay overnight, I got fifteen minutes drving to home".....he fell sleep and got his truck flipping few times...just less than half mile to his home. Since then he never be same person as brain damaged but well alive so far. I missed his old ways.

I did that before....not bad happen, just weaving off...it gave my heart hell pounds. Since then I gave up to get into rest area, stay overnight, or take nap before go out.
 
I saw some where that falling asleep at the wheel is just as dangerous as drinking and driving. Pull over at a motel , catch some sleep or just pull over and go right to sleep somewhere in the woods. It is alots better than laying in the hospital fighting for your life under a bright light and doctors, nurses working on you, not knowing if your breath will be your last one. :ugh:

No problems. I had lost a very good friend..fresh out of high school to a bad car accident in 1993. So I know how that feels.
 
Saw on tv not sure what years that I saw on tv. It is dangerous.

Once my mom , me and one of my friend which my mom pick me and my friend up and I saw my mom almost goes sleep and I wake her up " mom wake up!" then she said oh sorry then later almost fell sleep again so I had to wake her up mom wake up!! and she said oh sorry and stay awake till arrive home it was on highway. Till she never do it again when if she is tired then will not go on to drive wait till feel awake then go on the road.

When I was 13 yrs old.
 
Actually I got remind about my friend who driving... While I was sleeping on the rear seat... My friend and her husband... She driving.. her husband fall sleep too..
I woke up *suddnely* wham into the rail bar protection not hit another side the road... which it's good thing... I grabbed her shoulder.. make her WAKE UP.. shocked.. her husband woke up too.. told her pull over NOW... She said no.. I begged her.. pull over..
*sigh*
That once ever since I had 1 memory scary thing.. that is it..

i don't find asleep and driving funny
i always nervous when we drives into night not stop to rest

i find this very dangerous
 
I love driving thru the night...I do that alot and when i do get tired and feeling sleeping at my first opportunity i ALWAYS pull over and get something to eat and maybe short nap then i would carry on when i feel alert.
 
Few times when I drove in night very very tired with my wife (at that time she was my girl friend), I became sooo sleepy and was about to sleep. She tapped on my shoulder and bare herself, put lollipop on her thingie and acted seductively. All of suddenly I woke up panting like crazy dog until we got to next rest area!
 
Sleepin during driving is dangerous bec ibeen thur that for yearswith my grandpa he always sleep during driving while selling farm equipments tomaybe 10 states in south..it kindamade my grandmanervous for years till he got stroke and stayed home
