Does your pet have weird food likes?

Not sure if this sort of thread has been created before. But here goes.

My cat likes to eat leftover pasta with meat sauce.

Recently, he has shown an liking for eating french fries! :eek3:

Heck, he does eat vegetables if they're mixed up in meat or pasta.
 
When I was a kid, we had a mutt (half wiener dog and half poodle...don't ask. LOL). My dog Punkie would only eat spaghetti, eggs with cheese, and garlic biscuits. She REFUSED to eat dog food. We tried and tried and she nearly starved herself to death.

My vet kept telling us to only feed her dog food, that she would die if she had poor diet.

She outlived the vet. By 15 years.

My kitty likes to eat table food as well.
Of course, I told the vet about him eating people food. She says once in a while is OK.
 
All 3 dogs like spaghetti. Joey likes pizza and hot dogs more than anything. Only the poodle eats dog food. She is old and fat and I guess we don't give her enough human food to satisfy her.
 
I would not let your cat is a lot of people food. Your cat will get too fat and not get the right nutrition a cat need to stay healthy. People food is a lot more fatten to our pets .

My poodle steal my slice of pizza and got sick and vomit it up!
 
I had a cat once that ate corn on the cob row by row, very daintily. He also loved an egg cracked into a bowl. :)
 
Had a dog once that loved to eat ice....and popcorn...as for my doggie Anita, she loves human food also...but I don't give in to her very much...unless it's steak.
 
My old dog who lived for 16 yrs. My mom cooked for him, beef heart all the time. He lovd scramable eggs. He also loved the ice cream from friendly's, so he got his bowl. :lol: I think it was either vanilla, or royal banana. I dont remember if he liked the maple or pistachoio. :hmm: i will check with mom if i remember.

He liked eating some spaggetti and pizza.

i missed that cool dog!
 
My two late dachshunds loved anything. I would give them the cob after I ate the corn on it. I remember how the female one would hold it while picking the cob clean. The male would eat the cob itself! I had to hold the cob for him to make sure that he doesn't eat the cob itself.

My mother would cook up something nice twice a week when her boyfriend came over. Everytime he showed up, the dogs get very excited because they knew they would get something from the table. Mom and her friend loved to feed the dogs from the table.

What kind of dog was it ? I am astonished too! My family when out for dinner and my dad has order some meat to be delivered to our house. We left our 2 dogs in the back hall and when out to eat. When we got back home both our dogs were passed out and their bellies was full of prime roast beef!
The delivery guy came when we were out and left the box of meat in the same room where our dogs were! Man my dad was PISSED OFF, there was about $200 worth of meat in the box , and the dogs had a feast fit for a king! Our dogs did not get sick from eating all that raw meat!
 
When I was health aid I had client and she was blind , she had 2 cats and one cat was really F A T! I mean it took a whole chair up ! I made my client lunch one day and sat down to do my paper work , fatty jumped on the table and very slowly started to steal from from my client plate , the cat would use it paw to take the food off the plate! I did not say anything as I thought it was so funny! I found out how that cat got so fat!

Yellow Lab, apparently they eat everything.
 
My cats had normal food preferences.

On the other hand, two of my big sister's cats had weird food tastes. One of them liked to eat grass. We used to joke that she thought our lawn was a big salad bar.

Another of my sister's cats loved spicy v8 and i used to dip my fingers in V8 and let her lick it off my fingers.
