Are you a student in college? RIT?
When I was at RIT, they had a program that was hosted every Wednesday night at 9 pm (or 10 pm, don't remember)... called "No Voice Zone". It's like a free ASL class hosted by volunteers teaching ASL at different levels and in different categories. I don't know if it's still around. It was there during my last year at RIT, 4 years ago.
You can also check out Deaf Chat Coffee. There's one in Rochester on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
