Do you wear your helmet when riding a bike or chopper?

Dang,
I feel for the fucker.
Is my credibility shot, too?

At least you provide some links and back-up information to your out-of-the-world conspiracy theories. DieHardBiker's claims hold no water since he hasn't bother to back them up at all.

I have hundreds of them. My family liked to take lots of pictures. Since all my parents and grandparents are dead, I have inherited lots of photo albums.

Ahhh, I think you would be cool on a motorcycle. :)

Prove it.

So far, every single question I've asked you in the past regarding the claims you've made in different threads... you've dodged them all. So I'll say your credibility is shot here.

Form your own opinion. Here are some links about helmet safety - :thumb:

Ain't reading any "Biker's Rights" websites. These websites are often biased. According to the website that is linked from Steve's post.

FMVSS 218 compliant helmets do not contribute to crash causation (Hurt, 1981). However, it is proven by research (Hurt, 1981) that increased coverage, particularly increased coverage of the expanded polystyrene liner, increases protection from injury. Helmet use has not been shown to increase the risk of spinal injuries (Orsay, 1994, Thom, 1995).

Mandatory helmet-use laws have proven an effective strategy in increasing helmet use (Peek-Asa, 1999, Kraus, 1995), and in reducing head injuries and fatalities (McSwain, 1984, Kraus, 1994). However, mandatory helmet-use laws are controversial with some motorcyclists. Research shows the number of motorcyclists wearing non-compliant helmets is increasing in states with mandatory helmet use laws (Peek-Asa, 1999). Recent research has found that as many as 40 percent of motorcyclists in Florida, which at the time the research was conducted had a mandatory helmet-use law for all riders, wore non-compliant helmets (Turner, 2000).

It has been proven by research that wearing a helmet reduce head injuries. It's common knowledge, people should know that wearing a helmet will increase your chances of surviving a serious crash and reduce the odd of getting a serious head injury. Well, as long you wear the right helmet, that is.

Well it looks like you found what you were looking for. Good. You wear a helmet if that is what you choose. I will do as I please. It's my choice in this state so it's up to me if I wear one or not...
