Topics such as how to run a business, investments, making money online, etc. would take place in this forum. Would you like to see a 'business' forum?

It would be good for people such as stay at home mom and dads that would like to work from home and make money.. however we need to make sure the businesses not scam.. thanks! :)
 
Yes, I would like that but then will need to make sure it is not a scam and is really used by AllDeaf readers. I am still looking into the Beef Jerky business online but have not decided yet if I want to sign up so I am doing some research before I sign up. I am always interested in legitimate business deals and ways to make money.
 
I think business is a rather boring topic, but I also think it would also be helpful to some people, so why not?

I voted yes to the idea.

Yes Oceanbreeze, because I live in a small town so it is hard to get hired in a small town. I think this would help more Deaf people in small towns but also help Deaf people in the big city too as well. It would have to really be checked out by an AllDeaf reader who really has tried this program to earn some extra money.
 
Nope. I don't see that many business related questions here to believe there would be traffic into a forum specifically for business. I think they should stick to the general forums.

I think there is such a point where having too many forums will dilute the readership and people won't read threads in forums they don't visit. I never visit the auto forum because I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough to contribute nor do I have problems with my car yet, but when I do, maybe I will post in there. I do read the technical forums daily, but I guarantee not everyone else does.

Meanwhile, someone who does post a question that I could answer will not have my input. If they post in the general forums, they'll get my input, even though the general forums is not the correct forum to post auto or technical threads.

I think the point where to create a new forum is when too many of those threads are overwhelming the general forum and need a new home. I don't think it's gotten there yet. Moving them before that point will simply make your moderation duties more difficult (Post in this new thread that no one reads!)
 
I vote 'YES', because I am seller and buyer from ebay, that's why I wanted to learn about business from different between real retail business and scum business (as such con-artist, etc). I lovely learn invest, etc, I like to learn new things..
 
would be good to teachs about bonds, trusts, and investments. Its good oppunitory for their future, i would vote "yes"

It is for opening a business, not for investing.

PurrMeow, Im curious have you seen the tv advertisement late night..the show about stock business...they were sharing about checking their stock business on their own computer at home..do you know what Im talking about? I think it is called X something?? I cant remmy.. :dunno:

Just pop up my mind...Why not you adjust some of smiles icons? Some of them are getting bored and tiresome...Why not get new icons?
