Anytime a person makes a mistake, there are two things you can do: you can step up and admit that it is your fault and be ready to face the consequences, or you can try to take the easy way out and make excuses or blame others.

Personally, I am mad enough to admit when I am wrong. If I screw up, whether it be at work or at school or in life in general, I can usually admit it and say I screwed up. The way I see it is if you blame other and make excuses, you'll losing the respect of others. And especially, if you are lying to cover your ass, chances are it's gonna come back and bite you in the ass.

So what kinda person are you? The one that makes excuses, or the one the blames others.

If I screwed up, I'll take the blame, the heat whatever that get thrown at me.

I'll admit it, i sometime make excuses for my mistakes if it really stupid mistake or i am embrassed by that mistake, otherwise i will accept it and overhead it..

i rather own up to my mistakes as opposed to making excuses... sure we all make mistakes its how we learn to better ourselves for the next chapter in life.

If someday I am ever wrong, I will admit it. (just kidding ;) )

I am often wrong, and I admit it.

:gives: Ravensteve, when are you going to stop whining about politicans Running to the authories when u don't like what someone said

Bush lied too, so... shut up. And I'm sure you won't admit it if you did something wrong.

I am easily admit when big mistakes I made. I being rather honest to reveal it now than later. it wont make me regerts for that! :)

Don´t worry about Bill Clinton!

Please re-read backerman´s thread. He ask about YOU, not point your finger to anyone. ;)

I guess it'd depend on the magnitude of the error made. LOL. If it's something I can take the rap for without getting into TOOOO much hot water, then yes, I will own up to it. :)

If I can't...the dog did it!

By admitting you cant tell the truth just like most people cant.

If I mistake an excuses then I learn a lesson what I did. I am not perfect you know that.

It's pretty easy to justify mistakes with excuses. Just ask anybody! :nana:
I had a bad habit of justifying my mistakes when I was a kid (fear of abandonment, perfectionism, illusion, yadda yadda).

I find that with more time it is more easier to stop making excuses for these mistakes. The older a mistake, the better! LOL Of course, there's always the harder way of owning up to a mistake after it has been made recently. Or is that the way around?

Today, I just have a more easier time owning up to mistakes because I've done much of my own personal clearing of these issues from childhood.

This wasn't nice, Steve. You don't know her, so therefore, you shouldn't judge her. Furthermore, take a real good look in the mirror before you accuse someone of being dishonest and/or hypocritical!
