Do you know the truth about heaven?

The Word of God or the Holy Bible describes heaven as a beautiful place with no death, sickness, sorrow or pain. (Revelation 21:3-4)

Many people wrongly think that being a good person is all that is required for them to go to heaven.

The Word of God says "If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, Israel about 2000 years ago and lived a sinless life for 33 years. He was beaten, crowned with thorns, nailed to a cross and then he died and was buried.

Three days later God raised him from the dead proving that he was who he claimed to be, the Son of God.

This historical event was witnessed by many people before Jesus Christ went back to heaven. (Acts 13:30-32)

If you would like God to forgive you so that you will go to heaven when you die just say a meaningful prayer like the one below and God will hear you and save you:

Dear Jesus Christ, I want to make you my personal Lord and Savior right now. Please forgive me of all my sins or things that I have done wrong in my life. I believe you are Lord and that God raised you from the dead. I thank-you for shedding your sinless blood and dying on the cross for my sins so that I can have a home in heaven. Amen.

If you just now made Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior welcome to the family of God because now you are a Christian.

Now that you are saved you should strive to live a Godly life because now you represent Jesus Christ.

You should also find a church to attend on Sundays and if they say that you need to do more to go to heaven than what you have already done then leave and find a real Christian church in your area if possible.

I read Bible and also have friend who learns sign langauge and helps me to read and learn about the Christian. I learn alot from him. He is even pastor. He told me to read Bible daily. Lucky he is my friend! He and I both prayed together to forgive for everything I have sinned. He can sign better and communicate to say what minister says in the church.

Ever heard of a deaf church?

Steve, didn't you ever prepare yourself for the possiblity of profound deafness? It really sounds like you didn't. Why not learn ASL? Then, you could communicate better with both the hearing and the deaf. You could also attend a deaf church.

There are things you could do besides sitting on your duff complaining about how bad your life sucks...

Well my life does suck ever since i lost my hearing.It makes me more mader and more angry when a president of the united states who doesnt give 2 shits about anyone else but himself and being in that oval office.He could care less if North Korea Blows up hawaii.Thats why i hope GOD does give his wife Laura or his mom Barbara a heart disease and i bet hell change his mond about stem cell reserach.Just like Justice Souter voted for Eminent domain and a town council man is gonna punish him for his liberal vote hes gonna take his house away from him.I cant wait untill democrats get mr bush ass outta office in 15 months from now.

You should know this by now, but I'm wheelchair bound. I also could probably benefit from stem cell research (which is one reason I support it), but you don't hear me on here screaming about how I want a new spinal cord, and demanding that the government fund money for it. I'm not that selfish. In fact, if you were to ask me, I'd tell you that I'm not that keen on the idea of walking. It's a nice thought. But, honestly, I've never really walked. Did use braces and crutches when I was a child, but as far as being able to walk unaided, no. I've never walked across a room under my own power. You could say I don't miss what I don't know.

And, you know, Steve. It really is the same for you. You probably heard very well with hearing aids until your hearing deteriorated. But, you've NEVER had "normal hearing". You've never heard without aids, so therefore, you really don't know what normal hearing is like.

Please stop whining, and just learn to accept your loss. Adjustment to your circumstance is very useful tool to have. I'd suggest you master it.

Ron, Romans isn't something JESUS said....it's something PAUL said. I really think that there should be a secular humanist version of this forward, pointing out that the Bible was written by MAN, who the Bible itself says is totally depraved. Also the books in the Bible were chosen by a comitee of MEN!!!! There's a whole bunch of books that didn't get put into the Bible b/c of politics or whatever. Man cannot fully understand God b/c Man is an imperfect instrument.

I just believe one has a right to be happy, regardless of their circumstances at birth.

I don't believe in chasing pipe dreams, either. Not to bring up a sticky subject, but look at Christopher Reeve as the example. He spent most of his last years chasing a cure for spinal cord injury. It was nobel of him, and I'm sure many people thank him for it. But, I believe there are more important things life; such as an appreciation for time spent with family and friends. Walking is great. But, I believe there are more important things in life.

Just my opinion....
