I create a thread on my youngest son´s behalf.

I bought Donut Maker and some American foods at ALDI today. I know my son alway want to have Donut Maker for ages.... I got it for him at last.... (He love to bake and cook - he often do with waffle maker...)

Anyway, there´re only 2 recipes including but my son suggest that I should ask you all for receipe then I can translate into German for him...

Any recipes for Donut?
 
Well, I don't know if other recipes will work on your son's donut maker.

Really? :eek3: It made of USA... :dunno: I bought it to with American foods at Lidl supermarket... American foods and drink come to Lidl Supermarket twice a year.

Yes, he made it for a first time yesterday but burnt it... :giggle: He was too subborn when I tried to explain him to follow the recipe... He do not like curd and refused to add curd and oil... I did warned him that it would not work... it would burnt... He was stubborn... I said, okay - and have fun then walk off and leave him alone... Around 5 minutes later, my son came to me with :( impression and said to me; "Mama, you are right - it burnt"... I :hug: him and said that he know it next time... burnt... :aw: It took me long to remove burnt stick on donut maker... He promised that he will keep quiet if I am going to make donut again... :D

Aww cute, :giggle: oh no about the donuts got burnt. Hopefully next time he will listen to his mom. :)
 
Have you ever heard Apple Cider donuts?

It tasted soo good and It is coated with Cinnamon sugar. It is from Louisburg Apple Cider in Louisburg, Kansas. (It's a small rural town but very popular for Cider Mill tour.) They makes ciders from apple press machine w/ cheesecloth. We go there late summer or fall to grab freshly made cider (it was a bit hot and fresh fresh!!). Also they sells many sonuvenures (spelling?), spices, foods, and freshly made Cider Donuts!! (Yummy!!!) ect....

Forgot to add for Apple Cider donut recipe, After you made donuts, put in big freezer bag 1/4 filled with cinnamon sugar and shake it to coat it. take it out and enjoy your donuts!!

I used to make a donuts in my school. We made a donuts sell at school. It's easy to make. You have to use a real fryer. I used to make an Elephant Ears before. I still have a recipes in my boxes.

I used to make a donuts in my school. We made a donuts sell at school. It's easy to make. You have to use a real fryer. I used to make an Elephant Ears before. I still have a recipes in my boxes.

Yes I do have fryer. I use fryer to make donuts a lot but I bought a donut maker because I thought it would be less fat than use fryer... and safety for my son if he want to use donut maker to make donuts. You can post your recipes here if you like to.

No, I am a British, married a German and live in Germany for almost 23 years now.
 
That's so interesting! Do you speak in German?? I know German a little. I want to go Germany someday! Do you born in England?? In my mom's side family coming from in Germany. We are Euro-American and plus Indian. I would love to go Germany for tourist. :) I love to eat any European's cookies and pastries! LoL

What kind of Donuts Maker safety for kids?? I want to know. I can teach to my kids how to cook. :) It will be fun for your son to make a sell and earn the money for donate, refund and charities.

well i use make this alike u buy biscults normal and open cans and use coke bottle top (white top off) use this middle and cut hole and make balls and use other donut easy job and put in oil til brown and hehe
