Do you ever wish your parents...

I'm not sure if this has been repost or not...but let's go ahead and discuss about our parents....

Do you ever wish your parents would have done differently in your childhood years? If yes, What would it be?

I'll start first...

I wish my parents would have bought closed captions for me to watch on tv..even they knew about closed captions..they never told me about it until I found out about closed caption when I was at college...

I wish my parents would have attended to all of my softball games..they attended one time but not after that...

I wish my parents would have encouraged me to acheived my goals and future plan such as job career but they didnt until I was in college!

I wish my parents would have told me there were other sports I could have gotten involved like hockey...I never heard of hockey until I got much older...

I wish my parents would've let me go to movie theatre, wear bikinis swimsuit, short short, tank tops...

I wish my parents would've spend some time with me doing homework together...

just appreciated that you have BOTH parents who loves you..
 
i wish my parents watch all my track and field games. they only did 2 times :-/ no support :cry:

i wish my parents have a better job

i wish my parents didn't stop going on vacation after i turned 15.

I do appreciate my both parents who loves me...it just that I wish things were differently...:)
 
I don't have anything to wish for because I was lucky to be in a family who is kind enough to support me. They went to all of my softball games and swimming meets. My parents learned how to sign even though they have never met a deaf person before. Not so many deaf people have both parents who know how to sign fluently.
 
I wish my parents didn't currently talk to me mentioning every letter in the words and crisply pronounciating words like I don't know the English language.
I tell them over and over and over again that I can hear just fine when they talk naturally but ever since they've visited the Psychiatrist I saw at the Cdn. Hearing Society they now talk to me in syllables like I've never learned the English language. They met her once and she completely screwed up the family.

I wish that when I was a kid, they never had any lingering doubts about my capabilites because honestly it's sucked the quality out of their lives.

Had similar experience.

My parents were very supportive, went to all of my stuff, learned sign, etc.
 
i wish that mom is not blind when it come to my sister jo jo who use meth .. thinking she changed but she havent? mom is so soft hearted toward her .. letting her stay at her place.. freeloader and bum on mom alots? mom let jo jo walk all over her.. so many things i wish..

i wish that my dad would buy me flowers or balloons but i never got them for my birthdays.. but my sisters dorrie and jo jo did.. he always get them .. not fair.. why not me?? i guess cuz i am deaf.. go figures! ugh!
 
I made out just fine so there arent anything i would wish for differnetly except for myself. :)
 
I wish my parents didn't divorce. :(

I wish my mom had been stricter with me.

Wow thats unfair! Havent you told your father how you felt about not receiving them on your birthdays? Maybe, you can take him to Dr. Phil Show and embarrass him about how fatherless he is! :giggle:

Maybe, you need to tell your mom whats going on...I'll be praying for your mom...so sorry she is blind...knowing it isnt easy...Has she been blind all of her life? or just happened to be blind for few years? :dunno:
 
I do like to see my parents in difference, but knowledge they re not perfect parents. They re ALWAYS my best parents ever I had. They been tried their best to raised us. I don't request anything more expect from them. Most of time all my friends and my ex's re jealous of my parents, which i dislike it cuz, they re compares to theirs. I haven't experienced grow up in divcore parents. They been together for many years, married for 39 years. I am proud of my parents!
 
I wish.. Noth'n... from my Adopt family peroid!

I wish My birth families would keep me first place instead giving away adopt family!

Cannot have cheat timeline goes back! Noth'n changes at all.. Btw Glad have my birth mom around my life future! :D

i would but my father is dead since i was 14. so i cant talk to him? :(


my mom is not blind but is blind when it come to jo jo.. doesnt mean she cant see ? lol.. im sorry to confuse you.. :(

i noticed your mom did not see what jo jo did to you. i saw jo jo pushed your shoulder so hard. That did hurt my heart. i feel that is very wrong. your mom is so blind when jo jo comes there. i was there to witness. your mom is not care about. that is really very stupid. we get our own place where jo jo will not bother us. jo jo will not bother you, my sweetheart!

Next time dont tell people my business.. I will tell people myself, ok? how would u like if someone tell others your business? i dont want to be rude but still i think it is my personal business.. not for anyone to know about? next time dont do that, ok?? :)
 
I do appreciate my both parents who loves me...it just that I wish things were differently...i do loves my parents and two young brothers very much but its really things were so differently around them.. the past was rough/unhappy.my parents think they know whole who i am but turth they only know outside of me person other than ihalf nside they dont even know how i feels or has things carry buried inside of my cheast since i waas young kid..but Now i hope things change better than before were :) i havent see my family for almost a year since i moved live in germany with my husband...
 
I wish my parents would get a divorce. Cause my dad is an complete asshole at times.
