there was a cage at Elvis's store in Memphis...
and a cuckotoo bird was in there and I saw a sign "do not touch cage"

And I didn't understand that...
So I touch the cage
and the bird bit me...

The bird bit me and didn't let go for 2 minutes.

OOOOOOUCH!!!!!!!!

I felt like killing the bird by knocking down the cage and all....
But I just leave my finger in its mouth... and let it hurt me for long time....
then it finally let me go. It left a mark on my finger...

I hate that bird...

Why blame it on the bird when you saw the warning sign? You were sufficently warned but sorry to hear that.

that why i am tweetybird and WATCH OUT ON U!!!!! if u near me and i will bite u too!

Sounds like something Miss P. would do, too bad I couldnt be there for the show...

Don't blame the bird for what was really your fault. I'm sorry you were bitten, but that sign was put there for a reason. To heed people against putting their hands/fingers into the bird's cage. Animals go on instinct, and that bird was merely protecting it's territory. As far as that bird was concerned, you were a thread to it, and it was merely defending itself. I don't blame the bird at all.

Oh, brother. She made an error in judgment, but to wish someone harm?

I'm not defending Miss P. I think sticking your hand in a bird's cage is a pretty stupid thing to do, but to say you wanted to be there to "watch the show" shows just what kind of a person you are.

I can't sued the owner? Why the store owner put an animal in his store to harm his own customers like that?

What if a child or someone who can't read the sign,,, and it gets bit like that?

That was a dumb idea... to put a bird like that in the store.

No, you can't. The store owner is not liable, because, he had a sign saying "Don't touch the cage". You ignored the sign, so therefore, you are responsible for your own actions, and the store owner is not liable. It's unfortunate, Miss P, but maybe you will learn to follow directions next time. As for small children and the like, they don't have to read. The parent is there to protect the child from harm.

I blame the weather because my clothes got wet from raining. I also blame the weather forecaster for not telling me what time rain will start

Rain Gods, watch out for the lawsuit and I will see you in the court.

Indeed. I agree with you.

SEE!!!!! No wonder why the liablity insurance is SOOOOOO expensive nowadays!!! just to defend IDIOTS who thinks they have the total rights to ignore legitimate laws!!!

Now, here is perfect example.... Suppose an IDIOT decided to ignore the red light and barge though the intersection and you obey the green light and barged though and rammed into that IDIOT's car... Is it YOUR FAULT or this IDIOT'S fault? Answer is too obviously! And would it be fair for this IDIOT to sue you based on that you did NOT notice him or her ignoring the red light? That explains WHY our insurance is SO expensive! DAMN IDIOTS!

Speaking of child, ACTUALLY it is child's parent's or guardian's responsiblity to supervise their child(rens). There is NO excuses!

Finally I hope this teach you hard lesson to obey the signs wheather they looks stupid or not!

Yeah I learned my lesson. I went to a dog pound... and saw a sign, "Do not touch cage"...

and flashback, remembering how the bird bit me...
And that teach me to not ever ever touch the cage...

but the pitbull at the dog pound, looked so lonesome and sad....

Then I imagine if I touch the cage, that dog would rip my hand off.

Thank God for the bird!!! Whew!!!

I did not mean to say it like I would wish someone harm, I was just saying if you have enough common sense, or in some cases a lack of common sense, anything that happens to you, you have brought on yourself, and I dont feel the least bit sorry for you.

You disobeyed the sign, Miss P. It's as simple as that....if you have obeyed the sign, you wouldn't have been bitten in the first place. The owner put that sign up there for a REASON.

Miss P's incident with the bird reminds me of something else. Have you guys ever seen those signs people have saying "beware of dog"?? What the stupid thing is, is there have been cases where people pet the dog in the fence, or burgulars break into the house, and when the dog bites them, they sue, and some of them win! :wtf:

Teg

No I just thought the bird would not bite me....

I was thinking if I gentlely and slowly touch the cage
in a friendly way... as to communicate the bird...

and it is just so mean, damn, it just bit me like "Fu*k off, will ya?" kinda bite.

you just want to take them seriously when they say keep your fingers out of the cage. Some birds like macaws can bite a broomstick in half, and your finger is not as big as a broomstick, and is much softer. This is a pic of a macaw, im pretty sure you have seen one before.
