Brief Background - Deal's Gap aka Tail of the Dragon or The Dragon is a portion of Route 129 in Tennessee/North Carolina. It has 318 curves in 11 miles. See link for further detail. It is famous for speed junkie to ride on it.

Has anyone done Deal's Gap????? I surely would love to go there!
 
I drove my old 1994 Ranger thru the Dragon on my way to NC in November 2000. The poor truck came back from NC with a bad misfire after I took all the curves upshifting and downshifting it.

Fun Fun Fun in a truck, but I aint gonna do the Dragon in a motorcycle forget it lol.

Yea I've done it. Its a rush. Lot of accidents on that road. Hope to make it back this fall.
