This incident happened last week.I believe this is a repost. I seem to remember reading this before.
Troopers say Christine did the right thing in getting her car to the shoulder of the road. They can't say for sure whether she would've been safer had she gotten out of the vehicle once she pulled it onto the shoulder. That, too, can be risky.
It's still unclear whether the semi driver in this case veered onto the shoulder of the road, or if a small portion of Christine's car was sticking out onto the roadway. The investigation is ongoing and charges against the semi driver have not yet been ruled out.
According to police:
Why didn't police charge against semi driver for driving RECKLESSLY?!????!?!?
The investigation should not take too long on the site.
I've seen police in Europe/Russia do measure the accident, and give the accident report right away. Why can't American cops do the same?
If it's sought out or planned, then it's not an accident. "Accident that was not intended" is redundant.Sorry meant to clarify "accident that was not intended"
I know some go out looking for an accident to have so they might get a nice large settlement. Then if it is that then is was not an accident by title
