United Press International - NewsTrack - Deaf students charged for creating bombs
Police have arrested two students from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind for allegedly making homemade explosives and taking them to school.
The two students are facing charges, WJXT-TV in Jacksonville, Fla., reported Monday.
The school released video of the two students allegedly making the devices, which police said could be created with common household items.
The dark video allegedly shows deaf senior Eli Tambling mixing ingredients in a bottle on school grounds and then throwing the bottle to the ground to make it explode.
The other suspect in the case is 17-year-old Sean Haley, who can be seen allegedly making an explosive device and throwing into the air to watch it explode upon impact with the ground.
Police said another student made the tape but has not been charged.
