Police in Sangamon County have arrested three teens in the beating and robbery of a 98-year-old Springfield woman.

Authorities say the attack left Margaret Geldrich, who is nearly blind and deaf, with broken bones in her face and arm.

Her shoulder was also dislocated.

Police say someone broke into her home last week and robbed her of jewelry and other items.

Prosecutors have charged 18-year-old Bruce Lloyd and 17-year-old Danny Kuehner with attempted murder, home invasion and other charges.

They're each being held on $2-million bond.

A 15-year-old juvenile faces similar charges.

$2,000,000!? Should be more...

I think that the punishment should fit the crime! Grr!

u shouldnt say anything about punishment at least not about danny he is innocent he was there yes but he was never n that house the police have no evidence that he was ever in there i know him. danny wouldnt do that. it was someone else lick too. he left and met bruce later that night he had nothing to do with except be outside with the 15 year old

Good for the teens ! They deserved it ....

OMG!

i pray for the speedy recovery of the victim! and the teens get a long sentence in prison!

Those inmates who are in prison who love their grandmothers and know that their grandmothers are very special people will have a surprise waiting when the guys get to the big house. I don't blame them, man ... If somebody so much lay a hand on my grandmother I would f*ckin' kill them. That is how I feel man !!!!

How could these teenagers do that to a dear 98 year old woman? It is so sad to see these kind of young people nowadays. We all need to respect the elders. They are our "teachers" because we get to learn a lot from them about what went on in this world before we were born.

You know that person?....

Even if he may or may not be in the house, but he was still there when it happened, and if he feel guilty or don't want no part of it then he should have report on it or run away by getting help....

I feel bad for this lady, I hope whoever did this, will get punished...

The 2 mil bail bond has nothing to do with the punishment aside from the fact people are innocent until proven guilty.

Anyway, the 2 mil figure was set high because it is thought that this person MAY have done a horrible deed or MAY be a high flight risk. The average person or their families cannot afford the bail which is pretty universally 10% of the bond; in this case, $200.000.00. So they stay in jail until the trial is over.

Heath, for once I agree with you wholeheartedly. These guys deserve nothing less than a covered wagon party. :thumb:

From You Are Going to Prison by Jim Hogshire:

Remember the rec room converted into a dorm we discussed earlier? Once a prison becomes this overcrowded the chances of violence of every kind skyrocket. A room like this quickly becomes host to what is known as "the covered wagon." Prisoners arrange the three-high bunk beds in a rough square and drape them with blankets to block off the view of the guards. It is in the middle of this that a gang rape can continue for an astonishing amount of time.

In 1973 a student protester didn't pay the $10 bail after being arrested at a Quaker pray-in at the White House where he was protesting the bombing of Cambodia. In the Washington, D.C. lockup he was almost immediately attacked by fellow prisoners, sodomized and forced to suck dick while being nearly beaten to death for three solid days... He was raped all day and all night. No guard came to his rescue.

Guys beaten and dragged into the covered wagon are set upon by dozens of men. They have all their teeth knocked out, they are forced to perform fellatio for hours and hours while being savagely fucked up the ass until their assholes literally gush blood. Even if the guards were able to detect what's going on (and they most certainly can), they would not do anything.

Kinda the cart before the horse here....let's get a guilty verdict first.....

Well, OK—I’ll give ya that one. ‘Innocent until proven guilty’ is the bedrock concept underlying our entire judicial system, and it's served us well for over 200 years. So I should have kept my lynch mob mentality to myself, at least for the time being. But if those twerps ARE found guilty, then I sincerely hope they all spend the next 25 years doing lap dances for the North Block Glee Club.

I would just kill him with my own bare hands if I ever went to prison. I don't think I would ever go to prison since I am a very law abiding citizen but if I did go to prison... that motherf*cker is dead to me in my eyes. He don't deserve to live or breathe for what he did to that old lady who is a grandmother.
I am not gonna rape nobody. That is some sick stuff. :barf:

That raping stuff in prison is done by sick, evil and violent homosexuals.

Excerpts from the customer reviews of the book you just provided.

Hogshire writes with a certain brutal simplicity with an attitude of, "If you're stupid enough to go to prison, here's what's going to happen. Your choice."

Yeah, maybe they’ll get tossed over a third-level rail or something. :fingersx:
