Curious abt your opinion with birth control, etc like that.

well, in few years ago, i had irregular period, and dr suggested me to take b.c. pills for only one month. Which help, but good enough in 4 months later, got preggy. So, after that, i decided to take patch, i love it, and had it for almost 2 years, so my bf and I decided to try make baby, so took it off, one week later, got preggy, didn't think that would be FAST! haha.

I have been taking oral birth control for almost three years and half, the reason I'm taking them is because of period and prevent pregnant (I don't have any kids right now)

I really like the birth control because it helps me to know when is my next period and reduce cramps too. I was thinking about taking the birth control off next year because I heard that if I stay on the birth control so long (for example 6 years) and I will have a hard time to get pregnant for the future.

I might have to ask my doctor when I will go back in September!

I HATE CONDOM!!! Feel nothing during sex! UGH!
I understand but condoms seem to be one of the safest of all birth control options. I used Ortho Evro patches for a few weeks until I saw on the news about some of its side effects had caused death to several women. I decided to stop using the patches because it freaked me out after seeing what happened to these women who were using the patches.

I don't use birth control anymore.. side effect me.. losing my hairdo... damn it!

When you're decide stop using birth control and get baby soon and also can be struggle depends on the brand of birth control... Not too always specific..
Advise check your family doctor and to further discuss about your concern health and goal future about planning have a baby.

I dont know if it is bad idea or not.

Even if she was on birth control, I'd still prefer to use a condom.

My good deaf friend from Reno was on it for 10 years...her new dr asked her what kind and said shot one...Depo (or whatever) he said NO MORE! It is not safe. FYI! ONly for short term not long term. So she is already off for 2 and half years and now she's pregnant with 4th! So just FYI it is only for short term. I rather oral BC than shot. I will probably get it to regluar my cycle. Damn it...I would stay on for 6 months to 1 year.

It's varies for each person, Each person experience some side effect while others haven't yet. It's about choosing the method that's right for you and only you, while there is no best method of birth control, each method has it's own pros and cons. So whatever the doctor feels is right for you because that's the person that knows your body and health. But, If the pill doesn't work on the first time try and experience side effects, then they can always switch to another brand of birth control. :thumb:
