Cup of Coffee.....$15

And... people actually buy it? What is this world coming to!?

At this rate, we're doomed!

Gee, A cup of coffee worth $15 and only has 8 ounces in it?!?! :eek3:

I'm not a coffee drinker but however, if I was a coffee drinker - I would not even go that far to buy a $15 cup of coffee. It's insane! Apparently for some people, money is not a object.

Whoa I wouldnt buy it even if is the only coffee left in the world. No way Jose. jeez!

Ha ha... i see.. there many soda, coffee, etc.. with "caffeine-like jolt" but didn't work !!!!

My late-great grandmother and late-great aunt drank Butternut coffee, which is under the Folgers name now and I feel that if it was good enough for them to drink, it's good enough for me.

If these people have that much money to throw away, I know there are a lot of us that could use that money and they'd get a free lesson in asl for it (see example following sentence). :ty:

So sad to think that there are kids going to bed hungry and these fools make themselves look stupid so we should actually laugh at them. There are also needless killings of animals and their mistreatments, which makes me wonder what the reason is. Plenty of animals at the humane society that don't have homes, too.

That's Seattle for you, guys. If you lived here...you may need coffee to survive the winter basically. It's not the rain (we rank 57th in the US for average annual rainfall), it's the cloudiness and darkness cause lots of people to feel tired and sleepy so that's why we have a lot of coffee shops than anywhere in the US, if not the world. We rank 4th in the US for the most cloudy metro area at a whopping 227 days a year on average. Astoria, Oregon ranks 1st with 240 days a year.

That may be the case but at $15.00?

C'mon! Would you pay for it?

No, I wouldn't, and I have to have my morning coffee.

Trendy coffee shops are conspicuous consumption, showy extravagance by people with too much money to impress nameless others that money is no object. $15-a-cup coffee is just letting these show-offs pay more for their conceits.

On a smaller scale, the same is true with bottled water. All that expense and waste of plastic for water that's been tested to be no better than tap water in northwestern America.

On another scale, it's buyng MonaVie at $35 a bottle when you can get the same benefit from picking your own Oregon blackberries and running them through a blender.

As P.T. Barnum so aptly phrased . . . and Reba implies, "There's a sucker born every minute."

I wouldn't spend that much money for $15 buck just for a cup of coffee. I know coffee is popluar such places like Starbuck coffee. But I rather make my own coffee for free then wasting money on a coffee that cost $15 buck. I got my own coffee blender.

No I wouldn't pay $15 for a cup of coffee, that's for the rich people to spend. I would rather pay up to $3-5 for a cup of coffee which makes more sense.

I know Seattle very well. I used to live there. :P

I am just glad that I don't live there anymore - but I don't mind visitin' there since my family/siblings live there. :)

I love to walk in the rain/snow. It's wonderful feelin' to be able to feel coolness, wetness and fresh air to breathe in. Heh

This whole week, there'll be more rain and snow mixed in Juneau, Alaska where I live. ;)

Pop culture at its worst!

Good thing I don't drink coffee at all
