Yeah,,I heard drunking drivers who got good lawyers made plea bargans and sentenced would required 100 hours of community service and must attend AA meetings.Look at patrick kennedy he got off the hook drinking n driving cops wouldnt give him Sobriety breathe test.

Ok, let's wait and see what Pek1 has to say about his opinion/point of view on this. :thumb:

ohh man that idiot... i don't agree with the idea that drunk driver get away with murder... literally...if a sober man killed someone he would get sentenced life, but since he was drunk he get away with it and get 12 years.. something is wrong with the picture.... soo does that mean someone who really hates his worst enemy, could just get drunk and kill him then he wont get life... someone who decides to drink is responsible for their own action, because they were not forced to get drunk, they are well aware of the consquences of drinking alcohol. So why should they get away with murder?

I absolutely agree!

This defendant is back in trial right now

For those of you that followed this case back in 2006, Montermini is currently back in trial starting last week facing 16 counts (Murder 3, Kidnapping, Criminal Vehicular Injury, etc.). Wish the Ramsey County prosecutors luck in putting this guy behind bars for life. His family is EXTREMELY wealthy and will not plead to anything. Money is no object for them. Hopefully we can bring him down and he can serve the time he never served back in 2006.
