Concerned a bit....

well, I don't know exactly where are you hurting, but maybe it's not gallbladder related at all, maybe it's hernia?

go to the dr, pronto, as everybody else say.

had mine taken out due to severe infection size of grapefruit when I was in the ER for throwing up excessively being in pain in the stomach area when touch. Ever since been heartburn free its a "godsend" package for me as been suffering with severe heartburns from age of 18 to 27 when I got it out at 27.
 
it feels just like after I had the gallbladder out, like a nice punch in the gut, right side even with the belly button right before the love handles...lol I just took a nap since to sleep it off, still a dull pain but not as bad.. kinda pissing me off, Ive felt fine up til this week.
 
Don't trust a general surgeon and get a 2nd opinion. I had to see one on a no GI problem and he seen on my CAT scan I had gallstones so he said "and if that gallbladder bothers you we can yank that thing out of there" ... never went back to him and still have mt gallbladder. He was scalpel happy.

Hope it feels better dude I agree with the other comments you should see a dr soon better safe than sorry.

Yeah, my primary sent me off for the ultrasound, and said it was bad, then sent me to a specialist who "yanked" it out through my belly button, wow

I was always wondering if the staples they leave in ( more like clamps to shut the bile duct from the gallbladder removal) would cause issues, like rubbing or poking something?

Sono, I don't know exactly how many years ago you had your gallbladder operation but here is what I can tell you.

In operations today and up to quite a few years ago, the "staples" that we use in gallbladder extractions are dissolvable. They are put in there only to stop up the ends of where the gallbladder was once attached ( of course! derp :P ) and after a few weeks, they dissolve. Prior to the use of these, the older staples used internally were made of medicated thread... They're not metal. They are definitely capable of causing discomfort, but they are not capable of harming you. ( moving around, poking or injuring you in any way. ) So yes, they can cause discomfort, but it shouldn't be anything unbearable. It may come and go over the years. To do something about it, they'd basically have to go in laparoscopically, retrieve them and replace them with dissolvable ones. The discomfort you feel should be just that, discomfort. It shouldn't be anything unbearable. If it's anything beyond this, you need to go see your doctor... immediately. People who have had their gallbladders removed have a higher rate of Appendectomy operations ( having issues with your appendix ) Which if your symptoms were sudden, could also be signs of complications with your appendix.

Adhesion or Appendix issues if the pain is pretty bad... get to your doctor... like... yesterday.

If it's just uncomfortable, irritating and bearable... probably just discomfort.

I'm not there to poke at you... so this is just a guess, of course.

Crap one more thing to worry about. LOL. As if worrying about potential medical problems from CRS isn't enough (don't worry I'm not THAT worried- more of a 'back of the mind' kind of thing as the Rubella baby bulge population grows older...).

And thank you for that description, I'd idly wondered about that over the years- I do know I had a um... endoscopy? thing done- first time they tried I got a little...combative. I don't remember this at all as they gave me Versed but apparently it wasn't quite enough to keep me quiet...they had to redo it the next day before the actual surgery...:P- heavier sedation.

:( Sorry, just trying to help! :ugh: It's true though, just have to keep an eye on it. I also have my gallbladder MIA. :P No issues yet, though. :D
 
nah no worries :). I never knew that so it's something good to be aware of. I seem to know more and more people with no gallbladder these days. At least two had them gone before the age of 30.

they try first suck and blow...gastric tube is passed and aspirated every 15mins or so they may stick tube called flatus tube up arse If no farting manytimes that kick start body back.
they will only relieve adhesions if you in the red zone sometimes you live with them...just luck some people throw adhisions all the time others don't..once you know that ease it
 
I had the gallbladder removed 2 years ago 8/2012. I woke monday to severe pain in my side (right side) from my belly button to my spine just the right side, felt really bad, hurt unbeleivably bad and almost couldnt stand up, had muscle spasms there as well, felt like the innards were shaking...lol
It hurt most of the day and let up, but still hurt, the next day wasnt as bad but still hurt and had spasms. Now its just a dull ache after a week. I didnt know the metal staples/clamps they used were dissolvable? wow new to me...lol
Is the appendix on the right side? I thought when they went in to do any surgery they automatically took the appendix reguardless although they didnt take mine???
