Cheerleader kicked off the squad for refusing to cheer her rapist.

I thought the penal systems handle minors differently from adults, hence the lighter sentence of one to two years?

There are three categories in some courts:

1. minor
2. youthful offender (up to 21 years old)
3. adult

Each group is handled differently.

I tried my best here in Houston but really got no answers yet....at least acceptable, logical answers. Here is what I wanted to know.
1) The other two boys plea to what?
2) Why did the coach continue to play the rapist? It should have been DNP/CD (DID NOT PLAY/COACH DECISION) which is prefectly legal.
3) Why did the other cheerleaders not quit enmassed in a show of support of her?
4) Why did the fans attend the game this guy played in? Me? If i knew he was playing or even still on the team I would not attend.

I'll keep trying to get answers and report back but Houston is a liberal media town, too scared to report "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth".

This is way a lot women do not report they been raped , the law is not on their side. They are treated like it all their fault. Nothing it done unless the woman is beaten close to death or beaten to death by the rapist!

cracks me up how warped up your mind is. Ms Magazine is a LIBERAL FEMINIST media that is reporting the incident.

:giggle:

Whatever happened to protecting the victim?

The officials who forced this measures on the girl should be fired.

It's like the old boys club protecting the star players when they should be making an example out of them instead.

I hope the girl's folks will keep up the lawsuit to protect her rights.

*smh*

Please keep us up to date on this topic, thanks.

I agree with you 100%, but what is *smh* ?

They may be reporting it and the Houston Chronical is reporting it BUT are they asking the HARD, IMPORTANT questions? Sugar coating this is just totally wrong. Like I said, the public deserves the whole truth and unless we have "real" reporting, we won't know. If wanting to know the whole truth shows my mind to be warped.....I'll take my "warped" mind over yours any day.

It's a cover-up...I would have taken my pom-poms and stuck them up the guy's azz!

Anytime a person makes a judgement toward media by accusing them as "liberal" is quilty of bias. :)

Ever heard of "Actions speak louder than words"?
Well, when a media is slated only one way, then it gets labeled that way.
The dem. party is called that because of the standards they put foward.
The rep. party is called that because of the standards they put foward.
And the Houstion Chronical is called liberal because of the standards they put foward......the truth , the public need and the subscribers be damn. There is no bias when the facts are all there.

Pretty stupid. almost as it sounds like they blame her for being raped...

A lot of things need to be taken in consideration but the part about the guy was already convicted bothers me.

Something is wacked about that school. If I was that girl's parent she would be home schooled and I would sue the school and make sure a restraining order is taking effect.

I agree.

There's something wrong with the message they're sending out such as it's okay to protect the convicted slimebag than the victim all in the name of sport.
