Why would the USA want to take over a money pit like Haiti? Just more Chavez nuttiness.

I prefer Doctors Beyond Border, Riders for Health, Salvation Army, and local groups (church, non-profit org, etc.)

The troops are necessary to keep order and also to protect the many medical personal and volunteers. After such disasters looting and crime always follow.
especially since the capital of Haiti is..... gone..... the government is broken. the infrastructure is gone. everything's gone. there are millions of displaced people. If Chavez wants to take charge, go ahead!
