Yesterday, I and my fiance were driving along Nacogdoches Road on our way to Walmart, and we passed a place that was half-done building the place, and we saw that it is going to be a Carl's Jr restaurant! We don't have one yet in our area of the state, they seem to be popular in in California and other far western states. I took a gander at the Carl's Jr website menu, and my mouth is DROOLING! Their burgers sounds and looks so yummy! They look big, too!

Here is the website:

Carl's Jr

And here's a picture of a Carl's Jr place somewhere else, so y'all can see what the restaurant here in San Antonio is gonna look like when it's done building!

I can't wait!!! :D

Yea, carls jr is one of my favorite fast food restaurant (chain based). Theres none in seattle metro area but have some in portland metro area and in spokane area. I might eat at carls jr in spokane/coule de alene area. Im posting this on my phone. heh

We have that here too, I like Carl's Jr better compared to BK. I go there once in a while. :)

GRRRRRRRR! I miss Carl Jr! YUMMY! I went there few years ago when I was in LA! I had their breakfast lol! It wasn't too bad but I like their burgers...mmm! I wish A & W here too. :(

In the south its known as Hardee's. I have seen it there before. The menu might have a bit of a difference. Carl's Jr. is okay, I prefer In and Out Burger :)

Is Carl's Jr compare to Hardee's?? I am not fans of Hardee's. I am not crazy about eat a burger. :)

We have Hardees here in Iowa. It is more expensive that BK or McDonald and I don't really like their food.

I don't know if they have hardee in california?.

Yeah, Carl's Jr everywhere in california. I rarely eat at Carls Jr. but little bit pricey.

Overprice for good food like at french quarter restaurant in WEHO. I like chicken salad with penne pasta and honey mustard dressing, it's yummy.

When you excite about grand opening at Carls Jr. Then later, you'll be like, oh that's enuff.

Lucia, Enjoy it at Carls Jr.
Try zuccihini (like french fries) with ranch dressing.
:)

From lurking at the Straight Dope, I get the vibe that Carl's Jr is kinda generic blah food.
Whatever floats your boat. I know the excitement..........."Oh boy! A NEW restruant that we don't have in this area!" It's always like that, and then its basicly generic blah food.

Went there several times and it was good, but never liked their television commericals

They have great milkshakes but other than that, I dont eat their foods.

I would have the same reaction if a Jack in the Box was built here in MD. LOL! So I undy how u feel. :)

I've seen a few of those while driving between New York and Texas. I think I've eaten there once, but don't remember when. :dunno:

You're right, their menu looks good. :)

No, Hardee's is not in CA yet; I think the furthest west they are might be in Wyo. I have a brother who works for them in Minny.

In n' Out is my favorite; other than them, I'm not caring for fast food places as the years go by....
