Candy Canes...

That reminds me of my dad's dog snowball, She ate all the candies that were in the stockings laying on the sewing machine, My step mom was so furious that there is no more candies that means no stocking so she had to go to the store that afternoon and buy more candies on Christmas Eve right before we were supposed to arrive for dinner. Poor step mommy.;)
 
Oh yeah, I remember that and I was quite surprise to hear that the dog didn't die cause choc, candies are dangerous to pets meaning it can kill them...I heard this from my vet...

I guess it doesn't applied to all the pets... :dunno:

Yeah I know snowball wasn't supposed to eat chocolate but surprise she didn't die from it. :Ohno:
 
Smiles, that was a cute story, Angel...best way to do is to put RR in the closet again. Put a peephole at chair level so he can watch who's eating the candy canes.

And if RR sees that one of cats eating candy cane, he could bang inside closet door reallly loud and the cat would ran out of room really fast with fur all standing up! :giggle:
 
Sounds good, Peachy Lady...and if its one of the kids, he will run out of the room, crying, "mommy, Santa Claus is locked in the closet again!"
 
Oh man! I went through before.. with cats too.. even dogs too.. and KIDS too..
but the wrose thing about dogs.. one of them ate whole gingerbread house.. while we gone for the day.. (it was on dining table).. we came home.. OMG.. OMG.. dog was puking all over place even on the stairs.. I was panic.. and saw the table.. ginger bread was only less 1/4 left.. AHHHH.. we all cleaned up the mess.. and sent dog outside for puking some more.. and make him drink alot of water.. poor dog!.. (sigh)..
 
How can Cats open the Wrap from Candy Cane?

If the cats ate the candy, wouldnt the wrappers be all over the floor?

Or did they eat the wrapper as well? :eek2:

Funny thing you brought this up I just
got back from a few women group
yesterday gathering together to do
the brand new crafts ideas with
these candy canes just to prevent
these kids taking them... What did
we do ? We saved all of these
coffee cans and then we glue about
30 candy canes surrounding the
coffee can and decorated it by wrapping
it around with a long red or gold ribbons.
We put lots of chocolate Kisses candies
in the container. They look like
Christmas candies holder.

I felt so blessed cuz the leader group
learned so much from her sister who
owns a florist shop.


P.S. The glue is from a gun if you know
what I'm talking about... so that way
it's not too hard to take off one candy cane
at a time. Of course, glue is on the plastic
wrap of the candy cane instead of
candy itself....
