I've brought two boxes of candy canes to hang on our tree, and then 3 days later all the candy canes are all gone :-o

I had a talk with my children and told them they need to ask before taking candy canes off the tree, I didn't want them to eat all of them in 3 days!!...Then when I added more candy canes on the tree, then a few hours later seeing the cats trying to eat the wrap from the candycane...

Aha!!! Who's the culprit, then? The kids or the cats? ;) I've got my supply of candy canes, but they are not for eating. I will be experimenting with them. :) Candles!!! (Decoration, that is.)

Not a bad idea for 99 cents!

haha, thats a good one. Cats eating candy canes... thats a first for me

I was just thinking about this over the weekend....was it the cats that has been eating all the candy canes or was it my children?....hmmm....

Maybe I should set up a video carmera LOL

Lol, bring back old memory. My kids are not around here for last few days so candy canes are hanging on tree still.

Angel...when you see candy canes missing next time, ask everyone in your house, including your cats to open their mouth for you to smell and find out who has the smell of peppermint! lol :)

hahahahah LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! i agree with u.. need check in cat mouth hahahahahahah!

This reminds me of when my sister's candy house was eaten by our dog. She spent a lot of time at school and home building her big candy house. It was very big. I'd say that it was probably 15 in W x 15 in L x 12 in H. Anyway, she came home... all proud of her work. The next morning, it was gone. The only thing remaining was the cardboard and foil "ground". That afternoon, my little brother and I were jumping on the trampoline in the back yard. Suddenly, I saw our small dog grunting... uh oh! That's where the candy house went! We saw her crapping out pink turds with rainbow-colored polka dots... :barf:

 We laughed our asses off as we went to tell our mom where the candy house went. Hehehe!

Angel...u might need to sniff RR's breath and see if its peppermint! hahaha

Angel,

Its so cute and funny story that you was telling us about your kids....or cats. I love that. It made me laugh!!

Hilarious thread! The cats did not make the tree fall, did they?
Or did the boys give the candies to the cats, to transform culpablity onto them? I guess we will never know...

Liebling:)))

Yes it is an American tradition to hang candy canes on the Christmas trees, but not everyone do it. My parents and I don't put canes on our trees, but my sister does. You just put the curved part onto a branch, and let it hang.
