Do you prefer to buy your own DVD or rent it?

For me, I prefer to hire it because I don't like to watch same film twice.
 
I do both! I buy movies most of the time but sometimes I have a gut feeling I may not like the movie.. I'll rent it.. Now my friends are borrowing my movies... :pissed: heh.. really i don't mind except one from my neighbor keeps scratching my cd!

Hire a DVD? Do you mean rent it? ;)
 
I do both, I rent and buy my own DVD movies.
 
i buy dvd on sale... sometime i borrow from my friend dvd... sometime rent..
 
i have rented or bought 'em. if i really love the movie, i put those DVDs into harddrive. so i can click on one of the movies right away on computer or xbox extender and enjoy watching 'em without DVD on DVD players...
 
I buy DVD for my son. I rent movie and if I really like it, then I buy it.
 
I buys Disney movies cause my kid love to watch movie over and over again and I do buy any best movies like The Polar Express, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Titantic, Harry Potter movies, anything that is popular... Anything that is not the best like Ocean 11, Cheap By the Dozen, etc, I rent from Blockbuster or borrow from someone.
 
I do both.

For example, if I want to watch it so bad I will buy it. But if my feelings tell me that I should rent it, I will go ahead and rent it.

Sometime I will just rent some movies to save my money though.
 
I rented and buy, It depends on the movie, If I rented a movie and I like it so much enough to buy it, then I'll buy that movie. ;)
 
It usually depends on the movie. I usually buy them if I feel I can enjoy it over and over. Most movies I enjoy over and over are game-related movies (Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, etc.), 3D animated movies (Toy Story, Shrek, etc.), and animes (Akira, Street Fighter II, etc.). I've got quite a collection. I also like to buy some television shows such as Smallville and Stargate. Most of the time, I rent them since I'm a member of Blockbuster Online. :)
