That's right. The entire decor of the White House can be changed if that's what the President wants.

it's not like President is going to "bling" his office to excessive level or build a game room. The President MUST be able to function at his own pace, comfort, etc. He even gets to pick what Presidential limo he wants. After all... this is an extremely stressful job for the next 4 years of his life and White House is his home and office so it's pretty important to make everything as comfortable as possible for him.

Yes, that's what I thought so... because family Obama have different taste and like something different to feel comfortable themselves for 4 years... Maybe 8 years?

Nancy drew controversy by announcing the purchase of 4,370 pieces of scarlet, cream and gold state china service for the White House at a cost of $210,399.[61] Although the china was paid for by private donations, some from the private Knapp Foundation, the purchase raised eyebrows, for it was ordered at a time when the nation was undergoing an economic recession.[62]

i have no idea about b-ball and gym. maybe we should have it! it's time we fix this disturbing obesity problem in America! :mad2:
 
The only thing I know about Obama and basketball is that he likes to play right before every election because it brings him good luck.

Could be, but even if he was, it has always worked in his favor. With that being the case, Obama probably doesn't see any reason to ruin a streak of good luck. :)

I just curious that all. Obama said he need exercise everyday. I am not sure what kind of sports does he like.

I agree with you about Obesity problem in America! They need go to boots camp to lose the weight.

If it's true then why not.... It make him feel comfortable for 4 or 8 years... :D gym and basketball helps to reduce the stress which is good for him... :D

Well, it's people's own responsible for know what right or wrong foods, they pick... know they should do something like use bicycle or go for a walk instead of use a car to next stop...... not Obama or Government.
