Hi all!! I am staying home waiting for the service person to come to check out my furance since it is not running. It was running thru the nite til early this morning. It stopped. :dunno: why it happened. I hate that. :pissed: Now that I had to put 2 fish tanks *1 gallon each* near the stove to keep them warm.

I am sitting in the chair and freezing my butt off. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I wish I didnt have to worry about this anymore after it fixed. Dang!!!
 
Do you have the owner's manual to the furnance heater? If you have that then check the troubleshooting section and if you do not have the owner manual that came with the furnance then look on the internet for their official website then you can ask for the right owner's manual. The reason I say this is because some heating and a/c repair guys like to take advantage of the unsuspecting person but before you accuse him, it could be due to the weather so this way if your furnance shuts down you can check the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual before calling the heating and a/c repair guys over. Most of them are honest. It is just the bad apples you gotta watch out for.Hope I was able to save you some money there. He will have to fix it today then when you get the owner's manual go over the furnance itself and get familiar with your furnance heater
 
I have tried everything in my past experience and nothing works. So I have no choice to call them. I have used this company in the past and I trust them. :D
 
Aww dang.. I remembered it happened to other house. the furance stopped and I pushed button to start.. it works but stopped again.. landlord had to call service.. they came and found out the pilot is rust up.. its needs to replace.. but.. be careful!!! i get real nervous around the furance because if you did something wrong.. the house will go blow.. Yes.. its good idea to call service......

Yea I pushed the button twice and nothing going. It was like dead. LOL Yea still waiting for the service to come. BRRRRRRRRR my feet is getting cold I better put it under the heating pad to stay warm. LOL
 
I hate cold brrrrrrr lol .. at my home always cold during summer cause i live attic brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i had to keep warm dress up all the times till spring or summer lol .. worse one is summer toooooo wayyyy HOT!!! lol

Hey DM read what you said. at my home always cold during summer. LOL You should love cold in the summer time dang you. LOL
 
Then come and move in with us for the winter.. My house is very nice and cozy. :D I got extra nice bedroom with nice and warm bed. :aw:
 
So that means you have no heat now Pommie? :( I know how that feels been there, done that and it's not fun either. I hate it. I hope you can get your furnace repair soon! You know you are always welcome here at my place. We can have a Pj party! ;)

I do hope they repair it today, because I would hate to see yourself freeze to death. I'll say a prayer for ya Pommie. :hug:

Nice fantasy! House blow up? That is ONLY when you smell plenty of natural gas all over the house, then you'd know its primed to blow the roof out. But if it is just small area, this won't happen. House blow up because of this is VERY rare.
I just had new furnace installed 2 years ago, and if anything goes wrong, it will give me morse code telling me what the F wrong with them. So I can fix outright.
Generally furnace will last 20 years, if any of you have furnace that is at least 18 years old, it is GOOD time to think about buying new furnace! Actually should be 4 months ago. Get HIGH energy efficency one (Look at news about insane increasing on heating cost!). Mine is 93%, and I kinda of regret not opt for dual stage, and higher end because I would have it run on full power. I wish it can lower the power when its NOT that cold outside. But on other hand, I like the idea of aflue though PVC going straight to outside rather than going though the roof. Now, that I eliminated the steel aflue and built a lien closet in my bathroom! There was aflue in there, that is why can't built closet there. BUT now can!

Oh shoot! Sorry to hear about that. Hey, come on down to Florida where it is not toooo cold :)
Anyway I hope they will fix your furnance soon. Call them again to let them know that you have been waiting.
 
Hey he is here to fix it. :D Boy it a small world. He used to work for his dad who used to fix my furance but went out of business and so now he works for my service ppl. I am glad I have him cuz I still do trust him. He is good. He remmy me :D
