Anyone here a Broadway fan? Which ones have you seen? My sister lives in NYC so I get to go and see shows all the time! I just saw Little Women....kinda a badly written book, but Sutton Foster is in it....and she makes an AWESOME Jo! I am DYING to see Spamalot....every time I went past the Shubert theatre the Monty Python "Spam, Spam, Spam" skit kept running through my head. I also wanna see Wicked too! (Idenia Mendezel is in that! She was in the orginal cast of Rent)

I have seen "Les Miz" many years ago. I would like to see Phantom of the Opera (wow, I'm getting old), but I'm going to need a sign language interpreter. Do you know where to get information about Broadway shows with sign language interpreters?

Last summer my daughter and i saw peter pan broadway show. yea there were two interpreters beside the stage. it was good. i was very glad to see Cathy Rigby who played peter pan at her very last play before she will retire this year. she did fly incredibly. boy she looked so young like late 20s and she flipped and span herself !

I remmy reading an article in the NT Times about Sign 'terps for Broadway shows, but I can't remmy the details or how to book one.
I recently saw the Producers.....OMG, WICKED funny....can we say geek heaven? I love Mel Brooks, and I love Broadway....
Also saw an amazing production of Big River when it came to Boston....wow...one of the best shows I've ever seen!

i've seen les miserables, cats, rent, and i'd love to see phantom of the opera

ohhh and i can't wait for this fall for rent to come to theatres as a major motion picture the trailor looks freaking awesome.

I saw Helen Hayes (got her autograph) and Jimmy Stewart on Broadway in "Harvey."
I saw "Man of La Mancha" on Broadway.
I saw William Schatner (got his autograph and picture) off-Broadway (CT) in "There's a Girl in My Soup".
I saw the touring troupe do "Les Miserables" and "Man of La Mancha" in Charleston.
I saw the 1967-69 original troupe (Bernard Bragg, Lou Fant, Linda Bove, Phyllis Froelich) of National Theater of the Deaf perform in CT.
I saw the touring troupe of "Annie" in North Carolina.

I got to see Les Miserables and Carmen with my mom but I fall asleep! *oops*

Now, I need to pratice to stay awake because of DreamDeaf's parents.... love to go theater shows if they invites me.

because of my hearing problem, I can't understand Broadway show.

But I only went to Lion King show on stage, because I already
seen the movie.. so I was aware of what is going on.

:applause: :applause: :applause: i have seen "beauty and the beast" it is excellent, reminds me a lot of the visual affect of the disney movie. I saw "kiss me kate" that was fun. "Les miserables" was long for me! "The producers" was a comedy if you dig broadway you should see it. My alltime favorite broadway show is "one flew over the cuckoos nest" you feel like you are in the mental hospital yourself! :applause:

Wicked, FAME, The Sound of Music, The Lion King, RENT, Chicago, My Fair Lady and will see Jersey Boys next month. Love broadway shows... just wish they offered more terped shows more often... sigh...

Broadway shows was my dream to watch when I was young adult...plenty schudule with few interperter lost my interesting.

Othewise, I went ahead with Cirque Du Soleil where no need to have inteperter due variety forgien langauge each performs.
