There is a woman, she may have passed I'm not sure, who had a brain in her womb. Here name is Mrs. Reid and she is the mother of Harry Reid. When she gave birth, seems the baby's brain stayed behind.

Harry Reid, Democrat party leader, has gone on record as saying millionaires/billionaires do Not create jobs. He says this is a "myth".

Maybe Harry needs to be introduce to Mr.Ford, Mr. Koch, Mr. Hilton, Mr. Gates, Mr. Jobs and/or Mr. Trump. Using only one of these guys, someone could share with Harry how many employees Microsoft started with and how many the have today.
Or perhaps how many McDonald's started with and how many today.

Reid needs to be shown the back door of the Capitol and allowed to walk off into the sunset. Maybe he wil find his way to the land of Oz and ask for a brain.

... am I supposed to lol?

Sounds like this is one of those cause and effect things. Do millionaires/billionaires create jobs WHILE being a millionaire/billionaire? Or do they create jobs ON the way to become a #-naire?

By the way, isn't it better to have a lot of millionaires than just a few handful ridiculously rich billionaires?

Do more jobs get created when several people start several companies? Or do more jobs get created when a singular someone makes a lot more money?

Companies A, B, C = Total yearly profit for all companies combined = $10 billion dollars.

Companies D = Total yearly profit for the one company = $10 billion dollars.

Does the combination of the smaller companies A, B, C create more jobs or the singular company D create more jobs?

It's a serious question.

They create plenty of jobs. Unfortunately, most are only for Chinese to apply.

You are right, it is a serious question. Either ways, it shows they do create jobs and that Harry Reid is a mindless fool.

Really? I was not aware you were seeing Chinese people working at Ford dealerships nor at McDonalds in America. At least not in large numbers. The Chinese I see here
do start of working for a company but usually they advance themself to starting their own business.

All those wonderful sales and service jobs are so high paying! How can these tycoons afford to stay in business when they have to pay commissions for sales? Or McD wages? Why are they always advertising for workers?

out of touch moron says what?

Someone left their brain behind, but it wasn't Harry Reid.

What about Apple stores clerks? What about assembly lines at auto plants? What about casino blackjack dealers? What about hotel bellboys/front desk/pool maintenance?

So the point is that millionaires do create many jobs because their businesses require growth. Possible Reid has been so spoiled by the Washington culture that he is out of touch with the common people. For that, he has to go.

Perhaps you could consider that Wal-Mart, McDonalds, etc. open a few new stores EVERY month.

hint: new stores = new positions/jobs = more workers hired

rolling7, curious question. What do you think is the percentage of people (of those who have 10 million dollars or more) earned that money in their lifetime due to business growth?

All the jobs you mentioned are service/sales jobs that pay poorly, unless you excel at sales. Casino jobs require workers to work in smoky places. If there are any jobs working auto assembly lines in the US, feel free to let us all know where. Many autos are built in Mexico.

Little bit disappointed in this thread. Was waiting for somebody to respond with a 'Brain in Man's Penis' quip.:giggle:

Nearly all of them.

The top 1% includes people who make more than $380,000 a year. They include football coaches, entrepreneurs, CEOs and other high-ranking executives, figures in the entertainment industries, and so forth.

Football coaches and actors create jobs?

When he went to Washington, he left his brain in Chicago. And you know fully well who "he" is.

I know who the "someone" is that I am referring to. So does everyone else.

As far as who or what you are referring to, that is something only you know. You are on a plane that no one else can even fathom.
