What is next of course is for the public to be aware of change implications.
It does not escape my attention that this "thing" was militarily involved.
Of course they will deny it was militarily involved.
Everybody knows that.. When there is a new invention, the MILITARY gets first dibs at it.

Just imagine the possibilities of an invention, but BOOM, nope, shut up, we gotta kill, thank you.

hmm...now that you put it that way..anyone who's insane and have too much power in its hands would do ANYTHING to use in wars and invasions and shit like that...of course, it's always the military that gets the ticket first, because they are greedy and evil...and of course, once the invention is completem, someone else will try to ADVANCE the invention and make it much more powerful and when it's much more powerful it will be much more worse, really.
