BlacK/African-American ASL in U.S.

I'm intrigued by this book/DVD set - http://gupress.gallaudet.edu/reviews/HTBASLrevw.html
about African-American ASL.

Anybody have it..what did you think?

I don't have that book but it does look interesting.

I've read articles and other books about black ASL and the black deaf experience but nothing as extensive as this book seems to be.

I suppose you're already familiar with them or others like it but I liked learning about that....another one of many books I'd like to get. Someday....

I've seen the "stuck" sign for meaning pregnant before.

In SC, that first sign that the guy is using for "really dressed up" looks like the sign we use for "chicken." (If it is signed at the forehead, it means "rooster" or "USC Gamecocks.")
