Frag, you are not prying at all! I posted this letter to let anyone who is interested, know abou tthe meeting. I bet they already have an terp lined up. But if you want to go, and can go, let me know. I have yet to RSVP so if ya can go, I'll let them know they need a terp. If they cant/wont have a terp, I would probably be able to line one up for you.
 
I just wanted to bring this thread back up as a reminder that the forum is tonight. If anyone here shows up and sees a couple where the husband is wearing some type of police t shirt, ask him if he is Lillys dad.

I completely agree with your opinion. Lilly had a further hearing loss in her non implanted ear. Her HA is no longer supplying adequate stimulation. I started to fill out the initial application for your foundation several times. My ins co kept denying us. We finally got it worked out through the new insurance. They have already told us that they will cover everything. In case you are curious, the old insurance is GHP or as we refer to the God Help us Plan. Effective 12-1, we switch over to Aetna.Aetna seems much easier to deal with.
I just want to go to the forum for further research. I have found that you can never do too much homework when it comes to your children.
 
We are back to taking applications from everyone, after a very stressful 3 weeks where I had to say no to lots of really deserving people. Please help get the word out that the LTHF Insurance Advocacy Program is fully back in business ! I've done an Aetna case in Missouri before, so that should hopefully help your situation. They aren't necessarily easier to deal with, but they are DEFINITELY predictable.
