Beauty, Hair and Skin

Yup, Carmex keeps the lips soft while bikers are grinning, using clenched teeth for a bug screen.

Reba, the big green cube of Bag Balm is now available in a smaller purse size. However, the Carmex tin is easier for pockets. Hint: Carmex and Burt's Bees tins can be refilled with Bag Balm.

:cool2:lol nah just open wide and swallow!!! It's all Protine baby!!! :giggle:

Good thread, Skullchick!

I have natural curly hair that doesnt cooperate with me most of the time. Anyone have any tips on how to enchance my curls?

Everyone in my family have curly hair except me (idk why) so what they do is wash hair every other day or 2 (whenever it work better) and condition everyday, don't rub your hair with towel it causes frizz so just squeeze it and let it air dry it should look great and if it still doesn't cooperate then there's curl enchancing hair product OTC waiting for you to buy some lol

I heard gelatin and drinking green tea helps, never personally tried this method to say it works.

Gosh, I have this very very bad sunburn all over me :(

Stupid of me - bought a bad type of sunscreen and it barely did any work while I laid out in the bright sun on a beach for 10 hours yesterday.

Any idea to prevent my skin from peeling? I want to make this turn into a glorious tan. :fingersx:I dont want to come home looking like a red tomato! :o

Ah yeah me too, I use lip balm too and most time I do use Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 and lip gloss does me wonder so far. :) :wiggle:

Kiehl's Lip Balm? Hmm - Say, I haven't heard of this one. What else does it contains? What kind of lip glosses do you use? I usually use these flavored lip glosses such as, cherry or watermelon flavors. Sometime it makes you want to smack your own lip, haha.

Hello......My name is Schermy and I'm a recovering Carmex addict. :giggle:

:laugh2: You make it sound like it's a bad thing to be hooked to Carmex, haha.

Kiehl's lip balm have SPF 4 sunscreen and helps relieves Cracked or Chapped Lips so it pretty much like sun screen protection. I also use blistex for long time. It comes in handy when you get relief of pain due to scrapes, cuts, minor burns, sunburn, non-poisonous insect bites, and minor skin irritation and relief of poison ivy itching. Last thing I use favor lips gloss under L'OREAL. I have watermelon, cherry, berry and bubblegum favors. that what I use to give a handsome man a good smack! lol :giggle:

Exactly, I only use vaseline for stay outside for long hours (long walk etc) during winter time.

My beauty tip is:

Drink a lot of water and cut down sugar...

I use most of homemade for bath and facial masks.

Ohh, I love MUD Mask! I wish I have time to use it lol :giggle:

I don't know anything about facial masks, but I agree with drinking water and cutting down sugar.

Also, taking vitamin c on a daily basis will make your skin softer and elasticity.

I have never heard of using vaseline when staying outside. But, a lot of people claim using sunscreen and moisturizers will reduce aging.

There is no sunscreen that will protect for a full 10 hours of sun. You have to reapply it every hour.

You can try keeping the burnt skin moist with any good moisturizer, applied frequently, to reduce peeling but the skin has already been damaged.

Gelatin and green tea won't help, so what you do is eat more protein. And try nail strengthener paint and take better care of it like file when you broke or chipped part of nails, applied lotion or cuticle cream on it couple time a day get professional manicure once in a while . Not much you can do about it, sorry.

Alas.......I'll have to live another 36 years with crappy nails then!

Just wondering, do anyone else have fine (mean thin) hair?
Questions for you guys with fine hair, what do you use for shampoo, conditioner and hair mask.
What you use for hair products, method of pump it up or anything?
What haircut or hair style you usually do to your hair?

What I use is Garnier Fructis length and strength s/c (I'm groing my hair out from extremely short cut right now its below chin plan to grow to mid chest length)and melting masque for hair mask, garnier fructis smoothing milk sleek and shine if I use hair dryer and frizzologie infusium leave in conditioner for normal wear if didn't use hair mask.
I have below chin length hair, part of my hair touch bottom of my neck, plan on growing it to mid chest length. Usually put hair down, half ponytail or full ponytail lol I know I'm plain jane cuz I don't know what to do with my hair!

My hair's VERY thin fine. I use Biolace hydrating shampoo and conditioning balm. Its best for my hair.

Sometimes, I use Nourishing Coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. Its good for summer. Cuz, its organic coconut milk.

I always use Olay daily facial moisturizer. I LOVE IT! Since, when I was in high school from 1992 til present! WOW... long years!?! isnt it ? lol
