bad news....

I will keep you and your mom in my prayers. Keep us posted.

O.K. I just got back from a day of Doctor appointments with both of us. My doc says he wants to do knee replacement and I said I had to wait till mothers situation is dealt with so he drained fluid ( 1/4 cup) off of each knee and put cortisone shots in each knee as well and said let him know when I was ready for the replacements to happen or the next cortisone shot is due whichever comes first. Mothers Doctor said he couldn't tell how bad the cancer was or what type it was until he did a biopsy and blood work. we went across the street and did the blood work which will tell us exactly which kind of Lymphoma it is and went a mile or so down the road and did the pre-registration for her Biopsy which is at 11:30 tomorrow morning. the blood and the biopsy results should both be back Monday or Tuesday and he will decide what options would be best for her as in surgery to remove the main tumor and radiation or just pain medication to help her with her pain as she dies. He did say that the cancer had spread from her lymph nodes to her bones in her spine and in her shoulder blade on her right side and that it was a fast growing type of cancer. I will post tomorrow when I get home from the hospital about what he says when he comes out of biopsy with her and tells us what he saw when he was taking the tissue sample out of the tumor. Then Monday or Tuesday when we find out if it is fight and how to fight or give up and stay drugged I will let you all know, thank you guys for your prayers, they are already giving us the strength to endure this evil thing that is taking my mom away from me.

Thanks for the update--continuing to pray for renewed strength and the courage to get through all this. Hang in there--

thanks let us know, pls let me know i would like comfortable u and meet u and make new friends... if u need my help and i would be happy..

Please make sure that she enjoy her life more than she did in the past.

She couldnt possibly enjoy it more, she has had a very full life and is happy where she is at. I have asked her if she wanted to do anything before she dies and she said other than spending time with Dad, me and my hubby and the animals we have nothing, that is it she just wants us more around her and that is all so I plan on indulging her to the fullest of me and Dad is doing his best also and hubby has yet to see her since the diagnosis but he has been at work. Somebody has to work other wise the bills don't get paid and he is the unfortunate one who gets to do it. He has talked to her on the phone more than he has over the last couple of years though.

Yeah I agree, Thanks for this update Steph, I'll still keep her in my prayers.

I am sorry about your mother..will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

OH man... hope the cancer wont be so bad or so... all your mother will do is rest somehow and hopefully battle the cancer to the fullest....

Oh man, Im so sorry to hear of your mother's ill health. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers as well as you and your family. May I ask you what her name is so that I can rightfully add her to my prayer list?

Her name is June Green and she is from Hanceville Alabama. She had her biopsy today and the doctor came out and was very worried and very straight forward. he said if it was treatable that we would find out in the appointment Thursday next week. she has to wait almost a week for the results to come in for a definite response as to what type of cancer it is and if it is treatable or not and also what her chances are if she fights. I hate that we have to wait so long but it takes that long for the lab results to get back from Birmingham. I will let you know when I get home Thursday night what we've found out.

Oh, the waiting is soooo hard! I'll continue to pray for you, your mom, and your family. I know this is hard for all of you.

Sorry to hear about ur mom and pray that all things will go well and that she will find strength to keep her going. she is in my prayers and thoughts and all of u too will need my prayers to get thru everything with her. The waiting is always the hardest but keep in there. Take care!!

I am deeply sorry that your mom have cancer which is spreading all over her body plus the bones. Fighting cancer is a very difficult situation. Some people have remission and do not have to worry about cancer but some who are in remission have the cancer back again and died. My mother have cancer again (mean second time) and I did have two cancers which I got rid of through two operations. Good thing is that they are early detections. I hope I don't have any more cancer in my body, but who knows I might. I am deeply sorry. You and your mom are in my prayers and so are your family like your Dad and siblings. I will pray for you and your mom to go through the difficult time. Having you and your family surround her will help her make to feel want and love. It is going be a difficult for all of you to lose your mom, so keep your head up and prepare for whatever happen to your mom. I will be waiting for more of your update. :tears:

I have trouble with the grammar again like every time I tried to post.

My mother who had a remission first and then got it again with cancer. She had passed away two 1/2 years ago. I really miss her very much. Rest her in peace. :tears:
