Okay everyone, I'll stop giving y'all a hard time about the post in the other section of AD. The point of that post is that no one should be ashamed of who they are...gay or straight or whatever, and that no one should be in the closet because of who they are. We should all love each other.

And now for the other answer...I posted this thread, just to rile everybody up for shits and giggles. It seems that some people failed to find the humor in this thread.

She said that she just wanted to have fun, and that, she wanted to get AD riled up. If she wanted to rile ADers, doesn't that come dangerously close to provoking a flame war? I don't know... But, ugh.

My take on this is what a lot of you already suggested... She wanted attention. I think someone needs to grow up. Sorry to say, but, this was really stupid.

I admit I'm being hard on her, but, I believe in a bit of tough love. I call a spade a spade. This was stupid and childish. And, just plain strange.

Purposely posting something to get AD riled up could also come close to breaking an AD rule as well. She admitted to me that she wanted to rile up ADers. That's a in my mind. This brings up many, many things. Immaturity and respect. Having enough respect for oneself so you don't purposely make yourself look stupid, and, respect for the ADers on this forum. In her "fun", she was also trying to make fun of us. I really wonder where she was getting at. It just isn't cool in my book, and, I told her that. As result, we both got huffy, and, aren't communicating right now. That's between us, but, this was just out of bounds given her motives.

No. It was done deliberately to rile ADers. She admitted it to me in IMs. The whole thing just isn't cool given what she said to me in IMs. She was bored and wanted to rile up ADers. That's a premeditated act to try and start a flame war. She mentioned something about linking Elvis with being bisexual or gay? How she made that leap, I don't know...
