When I graduated from my university alma mater, I participated in a spring ceremony when I noticed many people dressing like they were going to the Prom only they were graduating with me! I thought it was funny, because they fussed with their hair and clothes.. only to have a dang black gown hiding an expensive dress and the hairdo squashed by the grad cap.
I know afterwards they will celebrate with family and friends, and that's cool. It feels good to have such accomplishments like graduating from an university.
I only wore a pair of white jeans, sandals, and a black polo tee shirt with some makeup. I am very casual and laidback and I do know people have individual tastes.
I thought I would mention a funny irony in life I have noticed with ya'll from my own perspective.

When I finished, I pointed out to my parents about how you couldn't even see what I was wearing and they simply replied, "It's the thought that counts." Jeez! They are just stupid!
