I live 200-300 miles in the middle of No Where, Pennsylvania and if a black man is trying to pass through then he is considered to be escaping from prison because nobody who is black comes to visit a 100% white town 200-300 miles in the middle of no where, much less be getting gas for his car. The police will be notified of his presence.

You are right there are some bad neighborhoods that I do not even visit and have enough good sense to stay out of these bad neighborhoods in the big city.

I guess that would go for me too huh? If I pass through your "all white" town I will cause a panic among the residents?
I can see it now. "Look at that asian girl! Why is she here? She's a menace!! Call the police before she eats our children and burns the town to the grown!!" :roll:

On the other hand, my non-white friends are welcome in the nicer neighborhoods, just like my white friends are. The reason they are welcome in the nicer neighborhoods is because they are nice people. The reason they avoid dangerous neighborhoods is because they are sensible. It has nothing to do with race.

My hometown does have a Chinese resturant opened this year, very recently. The Chinese owner lives in Upstate New York and comes to work and cooks at his resturant here in my hometown. He has never caused trouble and is a family man to his wife and kids.

There is one man who was in the U.S. Military and he brought home a wife from the Philippines. He always takes his wife to visit her family in the Philippines every year. My hometown is overwhelmingly 100 % white.

You know the Chinese and the Japanese hate each other, right? They have a pretty bitter history. One of my dearest, dearest friends is what she calls an ABC (American Born Chinese) and her parents refused to let her even think of learning Japanese.

I love my friend to death! She's amazingly brilliant and challenges me all the time.

I also had a male Chinese friend once who dated a yonsei woman (fourth-generation Japanese-american) and I remember his girlfriend's parents had a real row over the fact that he was Chinese.

Yes, alots of it has to do with the warring factions throughout the centuries.

I'll admit I've experienced some racism from chinese and koreans but they shouldn't blame me. All of that stuff was before me time :(

That sucks! I'm half greek but whenever I meet a turk, there's no bad blood at all. It's interesting how some feuds carry for generations and others just end after a few years.

It's only happened a couple of times and it was from older generation. I'm guessing they were there during WWII. :dunno:

I learned some Japanese martial arts Shotokan Karate and Judo in Deaf school ( High school ). I also have a military book which is very heavy on Japanese martial arts from during World War II. We had to learn alots in the Pacific campigan during WW 2. Here is one example from the military manual

The name of the book is called

"Get Tough! How To Win in Hand-to-Hand Fighting".
