I was wondering if there was any hard of hearing people on here from the UK?

I would like to make some new friends, i am female 25, will be friends with either male or female, any age over 21. :)

Hi Lisa! I am 24 (be 25 in Sept) and while I'm not from the UK, I am hoh.I don't think there are too many UKers here, but there are a ton of hoh folks here who understand 100% what you went through growing up as a hard of hearing kid. You're the one who wandered over here from the Royal National Insistute for the Deaf message boards right? I remember your messages...I gotta say I was bullied constantly as a kid :( I grew up in a VERY whitebread rich snotty town. You know...the type of town where all the girls are anorexic and football cheerleader culture reigns in the school? Thank GAWD I'm DONE with that.
