It sounds fun but I would have to declined, because I cannot afford to buy any Christmas gifts for any ADers. Only my family for this year, I apology. Maybe next year it depends on my income. ;)

Yeah I agree, it kinda of a last minute thing, I will have to pass on that one because I can't afford to buy anymore Christmas gifts when it already December 2nd...I only have enough to buy for my children, RR's and our families....

Next time you want to do something like this, it would be a great suggestion to set up during August or September to give members a chance to save up some money for exchange Christmas gifts....I do think it's fun and I've done it b4 with the people that I worked for....

Best is begin of September... then we will to have our preparation... :hug:
 
its nice idea but no thanks because not everyone do exchange gifts, they could used u and made u give this person a gift only... its still unfair. so no.. I'm out.

She got a point here, I mean what if a member who happen to dislike you, and you have to give them your address if they happen to pick your username, I wouldn't feel confortable giving that member my personal address...

So tell me how does this works? if you do plan on having one next year?...

No no... My point is.. If you interested "I'm in" so then I can write your nickname down on the paper and put into my stuff bag.. (Gathering who interested it)

When I'll annocement around I say on November 1st... and will pm you private who you'll give to person..

That called Secret Santa as same another forum..
I Love it from last year...

So why not use alldeaf.com AD'ers who interested.. so then can have..

Unless if you don't want the person.. you give to.. You have to nofity me via pm private.. I do respect anyone.. No problem!

I think it's a good idea but at the same time, Count me out because it's kinda the last minute thing.

As for the address, I would not be so sure about that since the main thing here is - Trust. Just like what OldNavyGal said, I'd have to agree with her but however, being like that online, It'd take alot of balls to do that.

I can really understand that, I'm the same way too but I only pass out my address if I trust the member enough to know that this member wouldn't pass the address alongs to others....

I've given out my personal home address to a couple of members here who are my friends and I trust them enough to give it to them...

If you feel in your heart you trust some members here and think of them as your friends, then go for it ;)....

It sounds nice but I rather do exchange Christmas gift in real life than on-line. I have done this every year at my workplace with my co-workers.

GA--how to witness name drawing on VP with all interested AD'ers at the same time? Is that possible?
