Anyone heard of VEGEMITE????

LOL... they may be cute creatures, but they can be vicious and beat people up! I think if I was offerred the opportunity to, I would be willing to try kangaroo meat for once to see what it is like.
 
Kootchie -- yes i know they can beat up ppl easily enuf -- but if we stayed a respectable distance from them that wouldnt happen would it qq as for tasting kangaroo meat -- i wouldnt go for it -- same applies to deer meat ack *shudders*

*still feels bad for them kangaroos!* :(

Heh! i echo your sentiments about the poor thangs.....so cant imagine eatin them! ugh......Im that way with goats too....i cant imagine eatin them either even though some people said they are delicious!
 
I tried Vegimtimite years ago at summer camp...I liked it...not bad!

Prisoners in Australia use vegemite to make alcohol(vegemite is a yeast extract) i'm pretty sure.It would taste like s**t though! I like vegemite but only because i was brought up on it ,i would'nt blame anybody who isn't australian who says it's crap.
 
OKay - I must update. Miss Delectable was nice enough to send me a nice tube of vegemite. I am happy to report that the cats like it. :-D

Oh, Liza??? How about telling about your favorite vegemite episode, starring one very Malfoyish child and the classic face he had on? ;)

I never heard of it, even though it is made by KRAFT Foods. I supposed that it is mainly marketing in Oz. I visited the website link and couldn't find their listed ingredients. If you have a Vegemite in your cupboard or reefer, would you please list their ingredients for me? Thanks!

I never eat VEGEMITE that before. What is it looking like?? I want to know what it looks like. I eat anchoives taste so good.
 
nooo, it doesnt taste like fishes at all. It tastes more like a strong yeast spread, like making a bread. Hard to describe!

I wasn't born in Australia, I lived there for 6 and half years and just moved back to California last Christmas and have been here since then.
I absolutely LAAARRRVVVE vegemite! :D
